Help me decide what kind of wedding band I should get!

Recommended Posts

The wedding band I bought has diamonds around it but not on the bottom 1/3 of the ring BUT by the time I got the ring sized (smaller) the diamonds go almost all the way around and it doesnt seem like the tiny plain part would ever end up on top so I dont think I will have to fix it much. Something to keep in mind.

ROFL Ann I swear to God that I can also be the most indecisive person alive,, well mainly when it comes to stuff for me. I struggled for a long time about bonding them together because Cain and I do alot of out door sports, but in the end of the day I don't think I will not wear my E-Ring. Hmm getting a second wedding band would solve that problem.. Hmmm now time to break the news to Cain.. lol.. Course you could always wear the plain band when your not wearing the bling one.. :-)

Ann, one thing the jeweler did mention to me when I said I wanted an eternity band, was that if you are a pretty active person, you will constantly be banging your diamonds, on the underside of your hand against things, which I guess wouldn't be good for the diamonds. I don't know if that would apply to you, but I just remembered that.

I have a tiny eternity band that my FI bought to me 'cause my e-ring is loose and I don't want to resize.. it isn't full eternity though.. it has a space but when I had it sized down just a tiny space remained..

I really love it and I want a full eternity band for my wedding band, I was worried about resizing and stuff but I'll order half a size bigger than my actual size (I'm 5, my e'ring is 6 and my w-band will be 5.5)

I voted for number 1, I love the plain with the diamond look.

But, I am in a bit of a bind with mine. My fiance totally surprised me when we got engaged last march (nearly a year already, and I'm only just starting to plan the wedding!), and I did NOT like the ring.

Problem was, I felt bad, I love him, and he picked the ring, and it was from his mother's jewellry store, and she convinced him that any girl would love it, even though he said "are you sure?? I think Margaret would prefer much plainer style" (yes! I wanted just a solitaire, or just like Ann's, two on each side, but instead, I have a main diamond, two on each side (like Ann's), and then the little princess ones all the way around the rest!!!).

So, I've been wearing this engagement ring for 9 months, and convincing myself that I like it. Problem is, that now, his mother has bought him the matching wedding band, which has more diamonds all the way around. It's ridiculous! My whole finger is just diamonds, and all I wanted was a solitaire!!! What do I do nowhuh.gif??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
