We got legally married on my birthday, too! It was way fun. We had a few family members there who couldn't make it to the wedding, so it was special for them, too.

Maura, when we were on our honeymoon, I kept telling Isaac that we had to go somewhere nice for dinner (at the AI!) because I still had cute dresses to wear!

I'm checking things off my list left and right!

Bags are done, contents are designed and ordered, menu cards for the welcome dinner are printed, waiting on menu selections for people for the wedding dinner, but I'm getting them laid out as I get the info. Had my second dress fitting yesterday (LOVE my dress!), Bought FI's shirt, shoes and (surprise) tie over the weekend. Luggage tags are done, pre-travel brochure is designed, welcome book is almost done, I've started putting ribbon on the fans and the wedding rings should be in next week.

Not much left. Have to book a make up session, my final haircut and color, go to my last fitting, buy cufflinks for FI, confirm all travel arrangements, make arrangements for transfers to the hotel for everyone, do a seating plan, have a legal ceremony, pack and fly! Woohoo!

this august bride is sweating her ass off in very sunny AZ, but things are going great. Still need to get FI's suit, need to set trail hair appt (it's with my best friend's sister, though, so I'm not too worried yet), I'm finishing printing all the paperwork that'll go into the OOT bags, we still need to sit down & choose the ceremony music, I need to send my starfish to my WC....that's about it. It feels wierd to be so "done" so far in advance, because when I work with groups in town I always have to deal with the last minute crap from the meeting planners. I love being the client for once!

I've set up my next couple of waxing appointments for I am nice & bald (almost) for the beach. cheesy.gif I do still need to figure out where I'll be getting a massage on the day before the wedding.

Ahhhh, I wish it was 2 months from now & we'd be in Hawaii already!

today i paid off the balance on our videographer, so glad to have that worry off my chest. now i have to finish coming up with the money to pay the photographer. got jose's tie over the weekend (havent had a chance to post a photo yet) and got our marriage license yesterday.

--i have to pick up my civil ceremony dress and my cabo church dress from the seamstress tonight at 6:30

--and then i need to print the couple invites for our civil ceremony and mail those off tomorrow morning

--i need to finish arguing over centerpieces with my WC and get something pinned down

--need to finish the DJ questionnaire and burning all our songs to CDs

--need to put together the BM gifts and get them ready so i can give his sister hers when she is here in just over 2 weeks. still thinking about mailing the other girls theirs.

--OMG i HAVE to finish writing the wording for our civil ceremony this week and send to our officiant to read over.

--need to get my ass in gear on my programs for cabo. i found a good template, just have to substitute all our own info into it and then print & make them pretty.

that's all i can think of right now on my immediate to do list.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
