When the Monte Carlo caught fire, we were placed at the Signature and let me tell you, it is BEAUTIFUL!!

The room is large, the bed is comfortable, you have a flat panel TV (which we didnt use), the bathroom is great (large spa bubble baths!!) with light dimmers and a TV in the bathroom as well. Plus theres ia kitchenette, so if you have leftovers that works nice. The place SMELLS fantastic! I cannot stop raving about it. A bit of a hike into MGM but worth it not to smell smoke all time time (no smoking allowed anywhere inside the hotel). I personally thought it was worth it. We had a Jr. Suite

I think its def. a great place to stay. I don't know if I would have paid to stay there had my hotel not caught fire ;-) Our Vegas trips are pretty budgeted!! So we have stayed at Monte, The Trop, Sahara, and The Fitz (old Vegas). I would love to stay at NYNY though. We have good friends in Vegas so we try to stay there.

If I wanted to stay somewhere really nice and quiet I would choose Signature, maybe even over Ballagio or Venetian. Its just really nice and an escape from the smoke and casinos

Are you planning on going soon? I got some great email rates from them a few weeks ago, I can check how long they are good if you are interested.

Signature is fantastic if you want to stay at a nice quiet hotel a little bit away from the "action" meaning the casino floors/shopping/restaurants. Of course all of that is right around the corner do not get me wrong, but you feel as if you are not in Vegas anymore. For some that is great, but some people really love rolling out of bed and riding down the elevator to the casino (and vice versa).

It is a very nice place and I do not think you will be disappointed.

Let me know if you have specific questions or you would like a comparison between that location and another option you are considering. It probably mostly depends on what you plan on doing during your stay.

Unfortunately it looks like it expired a few days ago. The rates were between $149-229/nt with a golf credit & spa discounts. If I get another promo I'll let you know :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
