Does anyone know of a vendor for horse drawn carriages? Specifically, one that will come to San Jose?

 

I've gotten one quote for $700. Just thought I would check around ...

 

We're thinking of leaving the reception in one ...

I'm not sure who our WC who she uses, but it sounds like you got a better quote than us. My fiance and I were quoted $1100 + 250 (optional for flower decorations). This includes pick-up from the hotel in San Jose, delivery to the church, pick-up from the church, a ride around downtown & drop off at the beach. We have to find our own transportation back to the hotel.

Hi there!

 

I was just quoted $1100 for the same service for a wedding in the Cabo San Lucas church (downtown) so it sounds about right although $700 is a great price! maybe the location plays into the quote?

 

For the FutureMrs. - I'm sorry to say that you probably won't be able to have access to the Dreams beach with the horse/carriage. I have not seen a paved (direct access) from the motor lobby to the beach, although they do have an alternate entrance through the side but it isn't paved and the carriage might sink... I hope this helps!

Sorry girls - I'm not sure who the vendor is that the WC uses ... and I've been told they don't share their vendor list (I've asked before on a different item and that was her answer --- which I guess is understandable!). Part of the price difference may be the fact that we just want to leave from the reception, ride around about 30 minutes, and then go back to the hotel (which is all pretty close to the plaza in San Jose). I'll let you know if I find any other quotes! :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
