    Hi everyone,
We are having a very small wedding (approximately 10-12 people including us) and are getting married at Paradisus Punta Cana. I don't think any of the reception packages are really right for us (as there will be so few of us) but we want to do something for our guest (and for ourselves) that is more than just having a dinner at one of the hotel's restaraunts. We are thinking that it would be nice to have a sunset dinner cruise on a private boat (we are getting married at 6:00 PM so it would have to be in the evening), but I can't seem to find any information on hiring a boat and crew for this type of event. Idealy it would include a meal and some music. Has anyone come across any information on such an activity? PLEASE!!!! I have googled and and yahooed myself to the point of sheer Fraustration!!!

Hi... we are getting married at ppc on april 25th- I had the same problem too.
We are a party of 22 including us and I didn't think anything worked for us.
I called vivana and she gave me great ideas. We wanted a DJ for a few hours because the night life at the resort is limited. So she suggested combining one of the buffet menues and having the reception dinner at marino. Open bar and dinner and the restaurant is not private but will be closed on the side we are on. For 3 hours-
I rented the boat for snorkeling the next day- but they dont do food just drinks for 500.00 us $
The palma real paradisus does have a package with a boat- the wc sent it to me when I was deciding between the locations. See if you can contact kelly i think her names is at the other hotel. the boat package is dinner

You should look into La Barcaza. We almost did that for our reception.

The menu looks great and the boat looks really, really nice.

Also, you should look into Jellyfish.

Jellyfish restaurant Bavaro Punta Cana Dominican Republic

You would have to have the restaurant arrange transportation (it's $5pp) but it looks like an absolutely beautiful setting and I have heard GREAT things about it.
