I have ideas for favors for the guests coming to my wedding in Jamaica. Does anyone know about how much I should spend?

I did OOT bags as well, 45 guests, 25 bags, @ $15-20 each. They included personalized deck of cards, candy, nuts, chap stick, wedding program, kleenex, golf balls for boys, hacky sacks for kids. I am handing them out on the plane, as we are all on the same flight.

Really, its about what is in your budget - you can find some really nice things for $3-$5 (bottle stoppers, small picture frams), or you can go extravagant and spend $50.
Don't forget that the classic, traditional favor was a little bag of jordan almonds (and that didn't include a gift certificate for the dentist when you broke your tooth on them).
So spend what you want.

We have 40 people coming and I spent about $15 each on their OOT bags - travel mug, aloe vera gel, SPF chapstick, paper fan, fun straw, and sample sized shampoo. It totally depends on your budget, I dont think my guests are expecting anything so I think it will be a pleasant surprise... I hope!
Newfiebride - I totally know what you mean, my fi is soon going to ban me from looking at wedding websites because I keep seeing more cute things to buy!!!

I found some nice beach bags at Garden Ridge for a $1 and I'm putting a folding fan, a cute headband (girls), homemade soap, aloe vera gel, a chrome luggage tag, and photo album in each one. Each one is around $10 total.
