    I need help. We are having a destination wedding and have to send invitations to people(immediate family) that we know can't attend. We would like to put a hand written note inside those particular invitations saying something like ... although we understand that you won't be able to join us, we ask that you think of us on blah, blah day. Can anyone offer other suggestions on wording or if you think this idea is cheesy. I appreciate all suggestions....

    I couldn't get her to respond to me either so I called the resort one afternoon and talked to her directly. I was very nice and so was she. Now when I e-mail her, its usually just a day or two til she responds. Its worth a try if you ladies are really struggling.

    I'm flying from Pittsburgh as well. I just read yesterday that Frontier Airlines ( who apple primarily uses) is changing its policy for carry-on bags. They are now charging for them. I am not sure when it takes affect but please check it out before your flights.

    I am not doing oot bags or favors... we determined that we never end up keeping the wedding favors we get anyway. They are a lot of money to put together and then you have to travel with them. We want to be stress free and I'm sure our guests won't care. I am thinking of doing something special in our thank you cards instead of the oot bags and favors.

    I agree, the centerpiece prices are criminal. I think we are going with the Love Package. Did you get any information or pictures of cakes?

    Does anyone have a price list for the meals only. I am contemplating not getting a package because it includes so many things that we don't want or need.... I just don't know if its feasible or if the resort makes it so expensive that it makes more sense to take the package.

    We were going to take a bunch of stuff down and the more we think about it, we are going simplify things. How many framed pictures are we going to have hanging in the house of the chair sashes. We are looking to upgrade the features that we feel will matter most.

    If you don't mind me asking... What wedding package did you use and did have the legal ceremony done in the DR or the symbolic ceremony? I love your review and I am so looking forward to my wedding there next April. We are having the Garden Gazebo as well; however, we are undecided as to which package is more suitable for our situation. We will be having approximately 25 guest.

    It took mine awhile and I am getting married in April 2015. It is frustrating, but they will get back to you. It took almost a month for them to process ours; however, they did and I received all the receipts as promised. It might not hurt to ask your travel agent, if working with one, to contact them just so they speed up the process. My TA actually did that stating that we were concerned with identity theft. I later found out that my e-mail actually went into their SPAM folder and that was part of the delay. Good Luck and Congratulations!

    I just found out that now have a new assistant to help out. She sent me my confirmation...Yesss! Now, I am putting together an e-mail to ask her more specific questions. Did you ever get any pictures of flowers that have been there or the name of the vendor? Do you know what color options are available to us to use verses having to bring stuff with us. I know I'm a ways off but I am just excited.

    You are having better luck with Yanna than I am. I sent her my wedding contract in January and the information to make our deposit and they have yet to process it. I was contacted by her a week ago and she said it went into her spam folder and that I did not need to worry cause my date is confirmed. However, they still have not processed my payment
