  1. @@HNeal Would you be able to explain what you mean by componemts the judge said? Thks
  2. @@HNeal Thank you for the lightening fast reply . I'm curious, how many days in advance was your package delivered to the resort? I was under the impression that shipping any items was a big no no! Did you need to or shade Jessica? Incidentally what is a paper piccolo? I was also wonder what your group you used to go to coco bongo? Was it a pub crawl? I was also curious to know more about your wedding day time line and how you broke up the speeches over dinner? I really need some suggestions on how to space this over the evening. So far our ceremony is at 5, 6 cocktails dinner around 7:15. I was wondering if you had any tips on how to have the night flow? I'm finding this part challenging. That being said, since you had a dj, did you appoint anyone as masters of ceremony? Oh one more little detail do you any pics of your bouquet and arrangements? The catalogue pics are really bad. Thks so much!!!!!
  3. @@HNeal Hi I was wondering, did you buy the decor from the family business once you arrived or did you order it advance? If in advance, does the business have a website? I'd like to take a look at their stock and see if they to Canada. You had mentioned you did 2 excursions. Did you pay for everyone?
  4. @@JenniferH114 oh thank you!!! Theses really help me visualize our group. I was afraid the isles would be too far back but the pier will be perfect! We should have no more than 7 rows
  5. Hi ladies, I was wondering if any one saw photos of a wedding on the pier?
  6. @@Sabes44 Thanks for the info, however I don't believe they have such a wheel chair. In fact, I emailed Gloria about this awhile back and she said the resort only has one wheelchair available so we would have to provide our own.
  7. Congrats @@JessT! I'm really excited to see your pics!!! We are also planning the ceremony on the pier. Charles' father has Parkinsons' Disease and his health, energy levels, fluctuate a lot. So we thought the pier would probably be our best bet since he will more than likely be in a wheel chair and pushing it on the sand will draw extra attention. We are trying to make things as "normal" as possible for him. So @@JessT please include as many pics of the pier as possible. I've noticed that most brides chose the beach.
  8. @HNeal I like your perspective about the shadows. So about shoes... I know this is probably obvious but do you know if anyone's has "successfully" worn shoes down the burlap runner?
  9. Thanks for all the info Ladies! Lots of good idea to ponder. I was wondering if anyone's wedding will be overlapping with mine? April 30th is a Thursday and we leave Sunday May 3rd.
  10. Thanks @@Sabes44 (I hope I'm doing this right) I would also like to know how much the DJ costs, and if its really worth the money? I don't expect us to be more than 30
  11. Hello Ladies! Thank you all for your posts, the info really helps! I'm glad to learn Sabes44 that you're an event planner, I work in hospitality as well, it just confirms I made the right choice since we aren't doing a site visit . We are getting married April 30th, 2015 and chose the gold package. I am undecided on the locations to hold the ceremony, my fiance is leaning towards the pier and I like the beach however I've noticed that pictures under the perogola often have stripes of shade and light. Am I just making too much of a big deal on this little detail. Any thoughts? Thanks! Julie
  12. Hi Ladies, Thanks for touching base. I'm curious, how would I use Wright Travel? We are Canadian, is this even an option?
  13. Hello fellow brides to be After several months of looking at this forum I decided to pay the 30 bucks and get access to all the great resources posted. I am so technologically challenged, its ridiculous!! That being said FI and I are getting married, April 30th 2015 at the Excellence Riviera, and I'm waiting to get my STD's the date magnetic postcards, made by Vista print. Will post once I get them. Happy planning!!
  14. Omg! Cherany your designs are beautiful!!!! I have been looking at this site for quite some time now, I guess that's what you would call creeping. Alas my ineptitude in the computer dept. and creativity has led me to look for inspiration on this site. And voila! After many hours of searching, I must admit, what you've created is the closest of all the examples I've seen. I have have ordered my bottles and boxes, my STD are yet to arrive shortly in the mail and I've been looking for an example of a passport that would resonate with me. Its yours!!! I love that you designed it to reflect what you wanted to say and not the united states of marriage. This wouldn't work for us, my fiance and I are Canadian so hence so are most of our guests. On that note note, I would be over the moon if you would email me your template for the bottle and passport. Awesome! I guess the procedure is to receive all information here but I don't mind sending you my personal email if you prefer. Well on that note, I should probably get to sleep, its 1:30 am. This is my first post, one of many I'm sure to follow. Just know you inspired me to reach out. Many thanks! Julie aka. Hapykat (he's my 20lb tabby) my baby.
