So the only ones who rsvp will get the real invitation.

On the back will have the contact information to RSVP to us or the travel agent. Also, the flight dates and pre-registration quotes for the trip. My designer hasn't completed it yet.
  5. This is a sample of our save the date. Not fully completed a few edits and then back still needs to be done. But thought I'd share.

For flowers I ended up buying the pomanders/kissing balls (sp?) for the aisle decor and I'm going to flip them over ribbon down in a vase for table decor after. Definitely share pictures along the way, I'm rooting for you. My extent of crafting is purchasing beads and putting them on an elastic cord for barefoot sandals, which have turned out to be really easy. (I highly encourage this craft if you're interested for your lady guests) Bought some great beads from a local store and off of DHGate. Hope they all turn out nice. I'll keep you girls posted when I've done a few. WOW 40%! Thank you, I wouldn't have even thought of it. It will help out since I am making boutonnieres, bouquets and aisle flowers. I can do it! I CAN DO IT! And you sound darn crafty if your making barefoot sandals!

Before the wedding, on check-in, having the resort do it? I saw a quote on our resort's wedding coordination spreadsheet and they said they'd charge $20 per room to hand out items for us. There's got to be a mistake there. If that's the case, we'll just go visit everyone's room ourselves. :s I am planning to try and make my own bouquets. At my resort it will costs us $30 per bridesmaid! Also I was going to use their bouquets part of the reception décor after. I should probably try and see if I can even do it! Lol.

I am torn about this because depending on the amount of guests, I don't know if I'll have enough room. Especially since we're bringing a lot of decorations with us.

I have no idea when my formal invites are going out?! How About you? Being filipino and having a LARGE family EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE is expecting an invitation regardless if they have no intentions of going. And this is a lot of people. So we decided to use the save the dates to give people the basic information and then if they rsvp we will send them the formal invitation at a later date. STDs will not be as expensive as the invitation and at least people can't complain about being left out.
  18. What kind of deadline are you giving your guests to rsvp?
  19. Yes, that is a great way to communicate with them. I might just make one for the hell of it. It might be more useful than I think.
  20. Omg! So cute and very creative. As soon as I have mine I will also post it. I wish I could of done mine but that definitely would of been a disaster. Lol. Good on you!!!

I really don't understand what their problem is. Like the other ladies said, JUST DO IT! Every other bride had no issues with photographers coming as a guest.
