My ceremony is at 1:30 so my cocktail hour starts at 3:00 and my dinner at 4:00 p.m. Unless you pay $400.00, you have to have each event continuously.

Yeah, I found out it's more expensive booking the djs through the resort. You don't have to pay the outside vendor fee though!

Yeah... I've heard from other brides it wasn't 'quality' and I know if it's not up to my standards I'll kick myself for a very long time. I am booking an outside one and forking over the money for the outside vendor fees :/

Yeah I finally got everything finalized as well. It took a while! I just booked an outside photographer and am looking into videographers. Things are slowly adding up though

Hi ladies! Just set my date to get married at The Royal in May 2014! Excited!

My wedding planner set it all up. She was able to get the church, the band to play during the ceremony and a cocktail hour. I didn't want the cocktail hour but she said I had to get it! Since writing this blog, I have scraped the idea of getting married at xcaret. I am doing it in a church in playa del carmen instead Wish I could help more.

Hi girls, I am trying to find out exactly what the Chill Out lounge is? Is this a private reception on the beach? I really want to have the reception on solid ground so people can wear shoes (not sandals)?? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi! I'm not sure if you got the necessary info but I have a wedding coordinator lined up and she quoted me around 3 grand to rent the St. Francis of Assisi Church at Xcaret. This price includes a trio band and a cocktail service (apparently you have to have these now). I am having a reception at my hotel simply because I don't have the minimum number of guests needed to host it at Xcaret! If you find out any information please let me know!

Hello! This is my first post here but I thought I'd join in on the madness I am trying to book a 2014 date for my wedding in Xcaret. I have a wedding planner who has been quite helpful. I was quoted around 3 grand to rent the church (St. Francis of Assisi) in Xcaret for 2014. This price includes a trio band and a 1 hour cocktail service (apparently you have to get both according to my wedding planner). The wedding planner is also helping me find a florist. I emailed a few and found that maya floral has the best deals and I love their arrangements. They also said they would deliver and set up the flowers at the chapel and then deliver them back to my hotel so I can use them as a center piece around the tables in my banquet room! The whole purpose of doing a destination wedding for me was the beautiful scenery and saving money!
