  1. So we went into a Le Chateau on the weekend and found the guys outfits. They are "linen like", I say linen like because they have a bit of a pleat in the front of the pant. The shirt is a white long sleeve shirt also the same "linen like" material. The guys will roll the sleeves up and wear a flip flop sandal. A bit casual but I really like the look. I am however looking to have my fiance stand out. I don't like the look of a shirt with just a tie. Do any of you ladies have ideas on how I can make him look different from the groomsmen? HELP please! lol I don't have pictures with me at work. I'll post when I have them.

I think I have decided against escort cards because its just something extra to bring along. If you guys have any ideas it would be appreciated! Hey Carina. I'm not necessarily doing a seating chart. What I'm doing is combining favours and place cards into one. Although a bit bulky, I have fallen in love and will be doing these as favours. I will put them all out on a table and label them with names and palapa # and then everyone will pick up their cup and find their seat. They are plastic and very lightweight. I'm also doing stripped straws that match our wedding colours. I can't wait!! I got a pretty good deal too. I don't really know yet how I am going to label the palapas. Maybe a burlap square or something. Hmmm now you have me thinking. I'll work on that and let you know what I find.
  3. This is a gorgeous dress Carina. Perfect for your salsa dance.
  4. Oh those are so cute. I'm glad it all worked out and you found something you love in the colours you love. Good job! Thanks for the conrats on the dress. I can't wait to pick it up. I may or may not dance around the house. When Matt isn't around that is. lol
  5. WoW. Looks like everyone has been super busy. I love how we are finally getting things done. It feels awesome. Great work girls. I found my dress today!!! I really didn't think I would have that feeling about the one but I do and I couldn't be happier. We also found the bridesmaid dresses as well. I don't have a picture of the girls in it but the link is to the one on the actual Bill Levkoff site. http://www.billlevkoff.com/style/bridesmaid-dress/774
  6. Quick question for you ladies getting married at the ILA. Did the wedding coordinator send you a form to fill out. It asks things like your occupation, place of birth etc.? Just curious. Thanks
  7. Hey there. So the dresses I thought I loved didn't look great on me at all. It's funny how that worked out. lol I did however find a dress I loved. However it's a one of kind and lots of people before me have tried it on. I know I can get it dry cleaned and it will be like new but I'm having a hard time committing to something that's pretty much full price but isn't new. Hmmm decisions decisions......... I'm off to try on more dresses this week and it might make my decision on the previous dress more clear. Time is getting on. I better kick it into high gear or I might be wearing my bathing suit to get married. hahaha! Hope all is well with everyone else. Good luck on your shoot today Kay.
  8. Oh that's sooo exciting. I would be nervous too. That's so not my thing. I envy you girls that are doing that. If he's shared any fantasies with you that might be a good route to go. Good luck....you've got this girl!!!
  9. csho- Funny that you ask. I'm going tonight to try them on. I've tried on a bunch of dresses in the meantime but I'm so excited to try these two particular ones on. Pray to the dress gods for me. I'm hoping one of them is "the one" lol Kay- The way you work you won't have a problem getting all of your stuff done. Once you are done your second job. I'm excited to see the end product. I've been working on my bouquets. Slowly but surely. I'm having a hard time making them look nice all together. So I might go to the Pickering flea market, there is a lady there that does inexpensive fake flower bouquets (I might have told you about her) I'm going to see if she can take the flowers I have made and make them look pretty all together. lol
  10. csho did you post a picture of your earrings. I would love to see them.
