    Quick questions. .. when booking a room for the photographer did you book the room for only one guest? AND did you book the room in the photographer's name or your own? I'm pretty sure I have read the answer somewhere on here before but i have no idea how far back i need to go to find the answer now. Thanks!

    Did your groomsmen have ties? Did u (or have u) had any problems finding a match to the guava color? The guava color looks almost red on the website.. but based on your pics I would say its the perfect color.

    As far as I know from everything I have read you have to have the Strawberry Passion package to have a beach reception. No upgrades for the beach reception. I just read on the wedding packages attachment for 2013 that no outside photographers are allowed. Please please please someone who has been married there in 2013 tell me that this is not the case. I have read about the $500 outside vendor fee and have been prepared to book rooms for my photographer. I never noticed that little aside on the package lise until now (and I booked and put the deposit for my photographer this week!!)

    I was wondering what suggestions previous brides have for the live music for the ceremony? What did you use and were you happy with your choice? I went on YouTube and listened to some sample music from the choices but I'm not sure how accurate of a way to decide that is.

    I have Ruth as my WC as well. She has been really responsive so far. The most I've had to wait to hear from her is a week (which from what I've been reading is pretty normal if not better) I don't know if that will maybe make you feel somewhat better. I had worried at first too because I hadn't heard ANYONE talk about having her as a WC.

    I'm using coral and aqua/mint too! I couldn't decide which one so decided to go with both. Having a hard time finding the right dress for my bridesmaids at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was really thinking about just letting each bridesmaid find their own coral dress- I love how it looks with the different shades and styles- but one of my bridesmaids is unable to make it now...leaving me with two, so I don't think that will work so great.

    I saw your pics! Gorgeous. That's actually why I was considering not using Adrian... my hair refuses to curl though and that worries me lol. I have seen so many mixed reviews. Thanks for the helpful info.

    Thank you so much for this post! I had originally planned to book Adrian but had seen some decent reviews of the spa recently and was a little on the fence. My hair and make up not being a stress factor on the big day is a huge deal to me So, thanks to this post I went ahead and put my deposit down with Adrian today.

    Hi ladies! We are getting married at the Barcelo on 10/12/13! It seems so far away I wasn't aware that certain meals were only available with certain packages? Do you know if it is possible to pay to have the meals upgraded to surf and turf if you don't have the Strawberry Passion package?
