Hi Ladies/Fellow BP Brides, Couple questions below: I received an email four days ago from Margarita about my wedding but I’m still 5 months out (wedding is 8/10/2013) so I was surprised to receive an email already. I’m not sure if she’s the wedding planner or coordinator. Has anyone worked with her? Previously, I’ve been working with Kalena on the room block, ceremony/reception site, wedding date, etc. My wedding is at 6 PM. Does anyone have any recommendations on what time to make my hair and makeup appointment? I was thinking around 3:30 or 4. Also, if anyone has the contact info for the lady at MAC can you please send it to me? I keep seeing this acronym, what are OOT bags? I’m sure I’ll feel completely stupid once someone tells me and think to myself ‘duh!’. Is anyone doing anything cute or have good ideas for the wedding programs? Thanks Ladies! Stacie

  4. Hello Fellow BP Brides, We are going to go ahead and do the room block. Quick question, when I received the special early booking rates the rates were listed as ‘Single Occupancy, Double Occupancy, Triple Occupancy, etc’. If our guests are coming and bringing a date, that means double occupancy? Just curious why it wouldn’t be a flat rate regardless if you have a king or double bed and with 2 or 4 people. Any help, clarification is appreciated. Stacie

  6. Just so we could get the date secured we signed up for the complimentary collection and I may/may not change it. For the former and future brides that went with the CC, what did you use (or do you plan to use) for your music to walk down the aisle to?
  7. How was the sound quality w/the speakers? Did you add lighting? That's what I'm thinking of doing, just the iPod hookup, but I was wondering if it would sound like an iPod or sound good like it would w/a DJ.
  8. How was your DJ? Was he mute the whole time (what a lot of brides have said) or did he interact with your guests, work the mic?

  15. Hi Everyone, I’m an August 10, 2013 BP bride. I apologize in advance for asking the same questions as the previous BP brides . I see a lot of references to booking with a TA. What’s the advantage to booking with a TA vs. directly with BP? If you book with a TA do you still get the resort credit? Here are our details so far: Second wedding for us both Booked CC for the time being, may upgrade to Pearl Shimmer or Pure depending on how many guests RSVP I’ve read so many wonderful things about BP and BPD weddings, only negative that seems to be recurring theme is the DJ. We’re likely going to book 4 hours for the CD/iPod + lighting extras and have our friend (who is a DJ) work the mic Thanks, Stacie

  17. Hi Everyone, My name is Stacie and I’m getting married at Beach Palace Cancun on August 10, 2013. I am likely the 1,000th Beach Palace bride asking the same questions as the previous 999 Beach Palace brides . Any help/answers/tips/advice is greatly appreciated!!! Some of my details: Second wedding for us both Target guest count is 30 (so we can have a reception) Still debating on Complimentary Collection vs. Pearl Shimmer I like the Photography Package A, but we’re thinking of upgrading to the Deluxe so we can get coverage before the ceremony and at the reception + the CD w/images Still debating on the DJ; go with resort offered DJ or bring an iPod and let our friend (who is a DJ) work the mic Anyone know what kind of special rates are offered to the B&G for their actual stay (not the site visit)?
