Does anyone know if it's possible to have a buffet dinner instead of a plated dinner if you're having a private reception at one of the restaurants? Also can you select the dishes for the buffet? I.e. My fiance and I would like to have traditional Jamaican dishes.

Hi Justine, Can you tell me how much it costs to rent the microphone and speakers to play your ipod at the reception? Also does anyone know what the earliest time is that you can start your reception at the Mediterranean? Also do all restaurants have the same closing time of 10:30pm? Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I have another question: does anyone happen to know what night the Suites has their beach party? I've heard it's Saturday night but wondered if anyone can confirm this? Also does anyone know what exactly happens at the party? Is dinner served on the beach or is it just dancing and drinks later in the evening? My fiance and I are trying to figure out the cheapest and most efficient way to have a Welcome Party for our guests. Thanks!

Has anyone received confirmation that if you book Rashel Edwards for hair and makeup that you don't have to pay the vendor fee? Rashel has told me that the fee is waved for her at the Suites but I've seen conflicting responses on this forumn. Does anyone have confirmation of this?

As far as the perks we received the same as Kassi22 which is 21st free with AirTransat while Sunquest offers 26th free but with a maximum of 2 free rooms per group.

Hi Everyone, Has anyone had a wedding at The Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa? I believe this is the 'new' name of the resort and it was formerly Plaza Pelicanos.
