  1. I also have Suzanne Morel booked for hair & make up for my wedding day (May 2013). I am also paying for my bridesmaids, MOB & MOG to get their hair and make-up done (little less than $2k total). Suzanne Morel is a little on the high end but you are paying for the great customer service. Suzanne calls me at least 1x/1-2 months to check in to say hi. She cares about your vision & needs. After reading some of your comments, I will have to confirm to see if she's attending on my wedding day. I would hope so I also met her wedding assistant during my last site visit & she's equally as talented & very nice. Her team is also coming to my hotel to do hair/make-up in our wedding suite. The reason why I booked her team asap was that I found there was not many "spa/salon" services in Cabo that had many recommendations or photos online to review. Suzanne's team seems to be the best so I am very happy I have her locked down for our wedding day!
  2. I just booked Dj Mijares for our May 2013 wedding. I would like to say that to date, I have been very happy with our communication with one another. He also met us in person during our 2nd site visit last month. We plan to book him for 5 hours to MC/DJ during our dinner & reception at Esperanza Resort. We also hired a trio and mariachi band for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I will make sure to provide a follow up review after our wedding! I heard he is very professional and one of the recommended DJs from Esperanza.
  3. Hi, I just wanted to add onto Bliss Los Cabo's post. When I spoke about the Catholic Church process of how to book the church during my 1st site visit, I was told that you need to contact the Catholic Church in Cabo and have your hometown church submit all the paperwork (baptism, communion, etc). If your date is available, it will be approved but I was told you don't have a choice as what church you would get married in….cabo or san jose. i visited the cabo church on my last visit in march 2012. its right in town. it's cute and small. Although I did not visit the San Jose church, it looks a lot bigger & beautiful. That would of been my preference. Also, I was told that out of two priest, only 1 speaks english. so if you were given the priest who could not speak english, you would have to get a translator…..
  4. Hi, I booked Amy Bennett Photography for my upcoming wedding in Cabo San Lucas. She's fanatic & was willing to work within my BUDGET! Originally, I had my eye on Chris + Lynn Photography and Alec and T photography but their rates were too expensive for us. She has a full coverage rate of 6 hours of coverage for ~$4,250. She may be willing to work with your budget. I am paying around ~$6,000 for both photography and videography. Below is her website & contact information. Our wedding is in May 2013. http://www.amybennettphoto.com [email protected] Good luck!
  5. I created my own wedding website on SquareSpace.com. I believe it was around $99/year to activate. I did not like most of the free templates and since I have passion for design, wedding planning & social media, I taught myself how to create my own…i also bought my own domain so it would be easier for guest's to remember. Let me know what you think! ChadandStephanieWedding.com
  6. I also sent out my invitations out early. Our wedding is in May and i just out my invitations this month because our room block expires the end of this month. We decided to ask our guests to stay at the Hilton Los Cabo and they are practically SOLD OUT that week in May already. We sent out save the dates out a year before our wedding datel so we hope/hoped our guests would have decided if they are coming or not….. Fingers crossed!!!
