I am going to do my TTD session 2 days after the wedding. I purchased a second dress to do it in since i didnt want to go in my wedding dress in the water. it was super cheap from davids bridal i think like 99$. thats always an option... As far as hair and makeup my photgrapher told me most woman just do their own hair since its going to just get wet anyways any messed up. and makeup, either have the salon do it or just buy waterproof makeup and do it yourself Im pretty positive they are private transfers but not sure if its a taxi or what.. I have the same question with the room numbers because i want to give them out myself also just to make sure everyone gets one. I would hate it if there was a mix up and someone didnt receive.. Im getting married in may and I have gonzalo nunez booked for my wedding day and trash the dress! He seems awesome and i cant wait to work with him!! Im getting married in may and i will use one of the musicians for the ceremony. I think i want the violinst or possibly the sax. I think it would sound pretty awesome! Im going to contact pilar and ask if they have like a clip or something of the musicians playing so ican hear which i like better. When i did a site visit last may i met with pilar and she said they can play specific songs you may want. She mentioned the beatles but im not sure what else they can do.

I also feel like time is flying, and I really haven't done much aside from sending out Save the Dates, getting my wedding dress, and getting my bridal party booked. I am planning to get my Invites out at some point in November - December and I'd like to have the RSVP by probably February. I just want to know what's going on a little bit early. As far as the honeymoon is concerned, we haven't booked yet but we are thinking about El Dorado Resort & Spa. We are only going to stay for 3 or 4 nights because of we are spending 6 nights at Now Jade. Have you had much contact with Pilar or anyone from the Now Jade resort yet? also, since the contents in the OOT bag are pretty small in size (since they are travel size things), is the bag going to look funny and folded over ? What has any past brides done or put in the bag to not make them look so big compared to whats inside them. THANKS!

Hey Ladies! For those of you who plan on handing out the OOT bags as the guests arrive, how will you know their flight itinerary? Will you be asking for their arrive date and time on the RSVP cards? Also, when is everyone planning on giving out their bridal party gifts?

Since we're supposed to know what everyone's dinner choice will be prior to the wedding, how is everyone doing this? I'm assuming just putting the dinner options on the RSVP card and having the guests check off which they want? Also, does anyone have the dinner options available so I can see? On a separate note, for brides that are doing OOT bags, where did you get the totes from and what type of things did you include? Also where did you purchase the contents from?

Are you getting the girls gifts from etsy? If so, can you tell me the shop name.. I want to do flip flops and possibly robes too. I also heard about the charge for the bag delivery and possibly getting mixed up which is concerning. How do you know everyone's flight information? Did u ask for it on your RSVP card? Since I'm sure some guests will book last minute I hope this won't be confusing

Pilar told me they can rope off a section of the buffet restaurant so it's a bit more private free of charge so that's what we'll be doing one or two nights before the wedding.

Brandi- what type of gifts are you giving out? Brownsugar- yes I am going to have a welcome dinner probably one or two nights before the wedding . If you just have your welcome dinner in the buffet area there is no charge. I planned on doing welcome bags and have them in the rooms for when the guests arrive so maybe ill just have a little separate bag for the bridal party with a little note and obviously they'll know that's their gift lol What type of gifts is everyone planning? I have a question regarding the gifts for bridal party. When is the right time to give them out? We won't have a rehearsal dinner but we will do a welcome dinner. Should I give the bridal party their gifts then or is that rude to do Infront of everyone else?? Then I was thinking since I will do OOT bags for everyone, just add their gifts into the welcome bag?

Sure no problem! Ok so now I'm having a problemo.. My plan was to have my fiancé in a suit and the groomsmen in the same color pants and just a white shirt. Well , we bought the suit but cannot find matching pants!!' The color is called taupe I believe , it's like a mix between tan and grey but it's like impossible to find a matching pant. Every color is a tad different in the shade. Is it going to be weird if my fiancé wears his suit and the guys just get a color as close as I can find to the suit color?

Yeah.. I don't want to scare anybody I'm sure plenty of brides weren't bothered by it or just ignored it. I wouldn't change my wedding resort for this because I do love everything else about it but it is a bit annoying to think about it lol hopefully they take care of the problems soon!

Well we were in building 2.. I think it was buildings 1-3 that had the odor. It's actually the grounds around those buildings because its near what they call the " lagoon" but more of a swamp lol It's not terrible . Would I ask to be moved from there just because we're on vacation and spent a lot of money to enjoy our time yes. But again, it's not unbearable just unpleasent in those areas as you walk past.

Yep It's ridiculous! They have the sewage problem and for some reason can't fix it? I'm not really sure . The smell isn't like totally Unbearable but people are spending money To go enjoy themselves I don't want any issues . My question to the resort was how can i guarantee all my guests be on a specific building and not any of the ones around the smell. The response from the resort was : 3." WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT FOR THE ENTIRE GROUP, IN CASE THEY NEED THIS TREATMENT, THERE WOULD BE A SUPPLEMENT OF $20.00 USD PER ROOM PER NIGHT.
