Hi Michelle, I'm having my reception on the terrace as well. Deisy told be to bring 20-25 lanterns and no need for the LED lights because the lights on the terrace illuminate them. I asked her specifically about the lighting.

I'm having trouble with this too. I would normally go with the seafood options, but I was just in mexico at another Now resort and the seafood (ceviche, shrimp cocktail, etc) wasn't anything like I'm used to hear in the US. I think I'll play it safe and go basic. Maybe the quesedillas, tostadas, cheese and crackers, etc.

Yea I agree. Do you think it would still take away from it if I bought a different dress (there's a few simple j. Crew ones I like) and used that and that way he wouldn't know what my real dress will look like.

I love all the pictures and we are already booked for our trash the dress. One question thoufh- has anyone done it before their actual wedding in a 2nd dress? We are getting married on a Friday, are booked for our TTD on Saturday and leave on Sunday. I would rather relax and hang with our guests on the last day. Would it be weird to do it earlier in the week? My fiance is super traditional and I think he would turn down the idea of seeing me in a wedding dress before the actual ceremony.

Hi Girls, I was just down at Now Sapphire for my friends wedding and stopped over to Now Jade on Saturday May 25th for a site visit. The resort is awesome and Pilar and Deisy were super nice and helpful. They showed me around the resort, showed me a hotel room (very nice and it wasn't even on the preferred side, although they said the only difference with the preferred rooms is the jacuzzi tub being outside), and then we went to the wedding planning office and went over the whole planning guide and she answered a ton of questions for me. She showed us the spa and I saw 2 brides and their bridesmaids getting ready and they looked really good and looked relaxed and to be enjoying themselves! Anyway, I just want to reassure everyone that Deisy and Pilar are so well organized and can basically cater to any idea you have in mind.

We have our site visit on Saturday, so excited!

For girls that wore a sash with their dress, did you try to wear matching jewelry? If my sash is rhinestones/ pearls and my bridesmaids wore gold would that look weird? I think silver or pearls would match better but gold looks best with their BM dresses. I don't want to clash with them or have it look weird in pictures.

Congratulations! Our tastes are very similar. I am obsessed with the Dusty Shale and have been set on it, but went to Nordstrom this past weekend and saw the Hint of Mint and Beach Glass and love them just as much. Hi Ladies, For those of you using paper lanterns for decoration, are you getting the LED lights? I'm not exactly sure how they will hang with the LED light in the lantern?? I also don't know if I even need the lights. My reception will be on the Terrace at night, but when I asked Deisy she said don't worry we have plenty of lighting. Not exactly sure what she means by that.
