I would suggest you call the office because Leo actually called me back to tell me that they did not offer 6p weddings in October, so please double check this. Has anyone used the Elegant Ivory collection? If so, I would love to see pictures of the reception. I am interested in this collection, but would like to see what it looks like at an actual reception and not just pictured in the guide. THank you ladies!

Aww, we will be wedding sisters!! My date is set for October 19th, 2013. I was able to change it to 3p today. I spoke with Leo and he told me that they do not have weddings at 6p in October so the only available times were 12, 2, and 3 so I chose the later. You said that you are getting married at 6p on Sunday? Yea I am sure that Sunday is a more relaxed day, so your ceremony will be amazing! I was told that I would hear form a planner in 30 days to secure my date, so we will see! I am pretty excited. I was also going to work directly with LIberty Travel as I have the best agent, but my fiance is totally wanting it our wedding to be as affordable as possible. The rate I was quoted by my TA was $599 for 3 nights, while using the membership is only $485 for two people and cheaper as you add people to a room (cap is 4). Hi ladies, I just received a call from the wedding department who told me that my preferred times were taken. They gave me an option of 6pand 3p. I booked6 p but I am a little hesitant because if fear 6p will be too late. I wanted to take photos after the ceremony and I didn't want the reception to be the dark. Can anyone tell me from experience what time is sunset and their option on times. I would have really preferred 4 or 5 but they were all booked! I guess October19th is a popular day 😄😄 Cheers

Hi Ladies, I am ready to book at the Hard Rock, but I have a question. My cousin is actually a member of the Palace Resorts and is able to get discounted rooms. I am on the fence as to whether I should use her membership or just book through my travel agent. I am afraid that if I book through her membership that once there, me and my guests will be pressured to become members as well, take the time share tour that they say is an hour and NEVER an hour. I don't want to have to deal with that on my wedding day, or weekend. Also , I was reading that we would have to place the $ upfront to hold the rooms for our guests. We are expecting over 85 people to attend, so I am not sure that we are able to afford that right at this moment. It is a very attractive discount (app $180 a night cheaper) but I don't want the headache. Has anyone else booked through a membership before? Any thoughts? Pros- cons? Thanks in advance.

Yadira is it possible to see your pictures as well? I am a future bride and I am between Dreams and the Hard Rock. I am interested in seeing pictures of how the big day comes out. Can you confirm if we are allowed to have outside vendors at the ceremony. I know with a few other resorts, they make you pay a few hundred dollars to let them have access to the premise. I am a little late, but congrats on your wedding. I am looking into having my wedding at the Hard Rock and I am nervous because it seems as if you can't use any outside vendors, and I want to be able to bring my own DJ, photographer, etc. Now that your big day has past, do you have any insight, pros, cons. How was the communication with the wedding planners? It seems as if everything goes through the Miami office, and i hear they can be a little all over the place. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

I am interested in getting married here and would like to have any personal input that your can provide. I am getting married October 19th, 2013 and am super excited. I am just getting a little frustrated trying to figure out the best resort. I am also looking into Excellence.

H iAll, I am recently engaged (yay), and my FI and I would like to get married in DR. I hear so many great things about Dreams Punta Cana and their professionalism, however when I looked at the pictures online and the trip advisor rating, I was a little worried. I then turned to Dreams Palm Beach as it is higher rated, so I am currently looking into that option. It will be between that and the Excellence adults-only resort. If anyone has any additional insight, personal stories, pictures they could share, that would be great! Best, LaShawn

Hi Danielle, I was wondering if you had a state side planner as well? It seems as if the wedding coordinators are the resort were super helpful, I just want to get insight as to how they were in the planning process? Were they responsive and quick via email? I and very interested in this resort for my wedding Oct 19, 2013, however I am undecided if I should hire a planner or not. Any advice would be helpful! Thank you. LaShawn

I am pondering getting a state side wedding planner, but if the planners provided by the resort are great, I do not want to incur that extra expense.
