I'm getting married at Dreams Tulum, I decided to keep the reception at the hotel, I'm so excited! November seems so far away.

I got my dress at Lustre at West Ed, they were great!

Did you sell the chapsticks? I'm in Edmonton!

I'm thinking of having a party at our house the weekend after just so everyone who missed it can come watch our video if they like! We wanted to do a hotel or venue but its soooo expensive!

Yikes!!! It kind of bugs me that we're at an all inclusive but yet you have to pay a TON to have everyone eat together.

Sweet tip, thanks! Hey ladies who have already gotten married.. Did they send you a package about what flowers are available? Anything you can share? I have a picture of what I want but I'm wondering if they can handle it or if I should look for a florist who can.

We got married in October there and we werent upgraded, but we were completely happy with our room and the location of it so we didn't care. Our wedding party upgraded all their rooms and werent very happy with them...the location of them sucked, far away form the buffet and the activities at night and with one of the rooms, their ocean view was a little sliver of it from the beach. So if you are going to pay the money to upgrade, maybe ask to see the room first

Anyone who has already gotten married at DT already, did they upgrade your room? If not, did you pay extra and upgrade? I'm wondering how worth it it is to pay an extra 800... Yeesh.

I got my date finally, I was hoping for Nov 12 but it was already booked, so November 14 it is!

I'm still trying to get everyone booked through my TA, ugh.. everyone wants to shop around for their own deals, which of course is great, but since we put our deposits down already if we don't have at least 10 people through my agent, everyone has to pay $420 more Right now we're at 8! eep! (we're only going to be 15-20 people max)

Too bad about Chinese Lanterns, I was wondering about that too!

Are you saying you didn't know the actual date until 2 months prior?

I put my deposit down for our trip and now I'm just waiting to hear from the resort regarding our wedding date - I emailed about 9 days ago and NOTHING!  Would one of you let me know what email address you're using, the one I got was from the reservations line and I wonder if it's out of date??

Did you happen to see any weddings at the pier option? I'm wondering what that would look like?

I'm from Nova Scotia (moved away 5 years ago) and I think the pier would be a lovely setting and a reminder of home.

Did you decide?? I'm considering Morgan Bay as well.. but I'd love to hear why you did or did not choose it!

I'm considering Grande Palladium for our wedding location... just got engaged but I'm super excited to start planning.

I have one big question...

In these packages, is the reception included??  I'm a rookie... help!  Or is it an extra fee?

I think Grand Palladium sounds pretty great so far! The pictures of Blue Lagoon are AWESOME!
