@bbride: Our upgrade was upon arrival and for the length of the stay, but it may be worth asking about. They were very particular about what credits could be used where, but again, just ask, you never know. I was able to charge all of the bridesmaid's hair to my room because they were not allowed to use their spa credits (for spa services) for their hair, which was annoying, but I wasn't going to make them pay for it either. I'm not sure who their DJ is, so I can't help out there. -

I'm slowly getting back to everyone who has messaged me. I'm hoping to have that finished tonight. -
The resort lends itself well to continuing the celebration after the 3 hours of reception. We weren't forced to leave the Tequila Terrace, but our DJ did start packing up. We all slowly moved to the lobby where people could sit and chat or get drinks at the bar and dance to the live music in the lobby. Several of the guys bought cigars from the booth they had set up in the lobby. A lot of our guests ended up in the nightclub or back at the buffet later on, so there is something for everyone. I would not spend the money on extending a reception.

There was an outside vendor for DJ Mannia, but we had budgeted for it after reading through this forum. They did not charge an outside vendor fee for photography - only the day pass for each photographer. here is the email info for the florist: [email protected]

Just returned home from our amazing wedding in Riviera Maya. The below items are all for sale and I am willing to work out deal if you are interested in more than one item! Arrived back at home on Tuesday night after celebrating our wedding last Saturday at Now Sapphire. I will write a review soon, I'm still recovering from the trip! It was amazing! Heres one photo to leave you with for now!

We leave tomorrow! Our flight is bright and early at 5:30 AM! Almost everything is packed and ready to go. I can't wait to get down there and see the resort in person! I'll take lots of pictures!

Holy cr*p. I leave in a week. The goal of this whole destination wedding was for it to be laid back and relaxed, but I am in full on panic mode! I have a whole lot of work to finish this week (I am missing the last full week of the school year) and need to do some last minute shopping, DIYing, and all of the packing, as well as my beautifying routine (hair, nails, wax, etc.)

One week left, what last minute things do I need to do? Hair, tanning, nail and waxing appointments are set. Most outfits and bathing suits are laid out. Decorations are organized to be packed. I know I still need to: put together survival kits get a wedding band survive the work week print travel docs pay final payments but what else is there?

We leave for the Now Sapphire in exactly three weeks! I am so excited, but I'm sad to say I am WAY over planning. Is this normal? I don't want to make any of the last minute items (fans/ programs, menus, door hangers, etc.) that I was planning on, but I'm worried I'll regret it later on. Advice?
