To all the up coming brides, first of Congratulations! I have a question, are any of you using DJ Doremixx (Ivan)? I have heard some of the previous brides using him and raving about him, but when I asked my wedding coordinator she told me that he is not a DRC vendor and gave me an email of a different DJ.

WoooWhoooo!!!!!! Just Spoke to Evangelina on the phone (wow so much better then emailing back and forth, definitely worth the $2 calling card) and send in my deposit. I am Officially a DRC Bride - April 27th, 2013

Lindsey, Thank you so much for the video, they were great and very informative. Answered a lot of the questions I had about the resort and I love that you walked with the camera so that we have an Idea where everything is when making a decision about cocktail hour and reception areas.

It would be soo helpful if you can email all that info to me. I have emailes Evangelina last week requesting for her to write up my contract so that I can already send over my deposit as well as i requested all the info regarding flowers and menus but still havent recieved an email back from her. Laura, thank you soo much for sharing your pictures and wedding day info with us. Your wedding looked and sounded perfect. Do you by any chance have Flower lists and wedding photorgapher names that the hotel offers??? I am new to the site and have not reached the level of opening up attachments so i was wondering if you are able to email me those if of course you have them thank you again and CONGRATS!!!!

I am soo happy to hear that your impression of Evangelina on the phone has been all good. I was getting a little worried due to lack of responses to emails, I have asked her for an over the phone appointment but no luck so far. Do you know how many weddings a day the resorts hosts??? I am not noo happy with having a bunch of brides walking around on my wedding day (is that super selfish of me?) lol I was under the impression that they do a max of two weeding but reading this forum it seem more along the lines of 4 or 5. thank you

This is a great idea, I really hope you can get the wedding planner from DRC to join in I am having a huge problem getting answers from her or even just a response. fingers cross, keep me posted when this happens, totally looking forward to it!!!!

Hi, I am getting married last weekend of April, 2013 and have been looking at two resorts DRC and Riu Palace Cabo. I really have my heart set on DRC but as you mentioned their wedding planner is almost impossible to get a response from. Have you started talking to anyone there yet???? I have been talking to Evangelina and it has been stressful. I heard other names associated with DRC for the most part Ana but not sure if she is still there.

Hello Ladies, I recently got engaged and I am starting my wedding planning early. I was wondering if anyone has worked with Evangelina??? I had my heart set on doing my wedding at the Dreams Riviera Cancun but have been extremely disappointed with her. I finally heard back from her today after 3 weeks of silence and I haven't even put down a deposit, I can only imagine what will happen once they get the money. I can understand people being busy but she has been MIA and when she finally responds she ignores my questions and keeps asking if I am ready to put down a deposit. I saw some of you have worked with other wedding planners at the resort so i am just wondering if she is the only one there right now or of there are a few??? I really want to book my date and time for the wedding and rest easy.
