Happy Early 4th of July Brides!!!! I'm staying at Secrets Royal Beach but my symbollic ceremony will be at Now Larimar at the fountain. Juana is the contact for both those FB pages & she is GREAT at responding back timely. She will get you to the coordinators since they are the same for Secrets Royal Beach and Now Larimar Punta Cana. I'M A 2012 BRIDE!!!! Our date is September 1, 2012 at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I must say, this wedding planning stuff is OVERWHELMING but SO VERY WORTH THE FUSS that comes with it. So far we have almost 20 people booked and we have a lot more folks who plan to book. I created a design for our STD but I only ordered one so I can see what it looks like. PRAYERFULLY we will love it & then order more. We've got our photographer that we are bringing with us (www.hillaryferguson.com) and our videographer (www.videopuntacana.com) . I can't wait to go to Punta Cana! It's going to be SOO much fun!!!

If you go to youtube & research VideoPuntaCana, the owner of VideoPuntaCana has done videos for weddings at Secrets Royal Beach and you can get more of a feel for what it could look like. You can also do your wedding at Now Larimar and he has videos for weddings that he's done there, too.

I am new to this site and I am learning how to use it. My wedding date is 9.1.12 at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana, DR. I was wondering if anyone had sources that I could contact our save the dates. I need someone that can incorporate our colors (royal purple, gold, ivory), have a sandcastle on it (we have a royal theme), and put a pic of us from when he proposed and the sun was setting behind us (got engaged at sunset, getting married at sunset). I'd like to get them out before the end of the year. I am hoping that the same source will be able to create our invitations that we hope to have done in the form of a scroll announcing the wedding details. HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I am working with Denise Kahoud at destinationweddings.com and compared to other resorts, I think our prices are reasonable. For example, we are bringing our photographer with us & for her & her co-worker, staying 3 nights, its $420 for each (that $420 is total for the three days, doesn't include airfare, but includes unlimited food & beverage, taxes, and transportation, & their room is double occupancy, two beds). So, their total with the insurance is $938, I think.

If you email the concierge, they will have the wedding coordinator send you pics. They sent us A LOT. If I figure out how to use this website, I will post some.

I am getting married there on Sept 1, 2012. There is a videographer, Florian Koetter, has a website, Videopuntacana.com, that shows weddings that were at Secrets. LOVE IT!!! I was frustrated at first in regards to all this planning b/c people that I thought were going to be there aren't going to be for whatever reason, but now I DON'T CARE and 9.1.12 isn't coming fast enough. If you are looking for a videographer, Florian is already there and his prices are pretty reasonable, at least from what I've seen so far.
