I am also booked at the Now Sapphire and am trying to figure out flowers. Was this florist through the hotel WC or did you use an outside vendor?

I was also having trouble making a decision between the two resorts. I met a sales executive from AM Resorts who is getting married at the Sapphire in March. When I asked how she chose between the two her answers were helpful. She said that the Sapphire has a more private place for the ceremony then the Jade and it also has a more Mayan feel. Both were good enough reasons for me to chose the Sapphire location for my July wedding.

Did you ever end up booking this hotel? I also want to have a "buy out" or rent a more private space and this hotel looks perfect. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Hello ladies, I am newly engaged and have stumbled upon the Excellence Resort. I thought the villa option was a great way for extra intimacy. However I have called the Excellence and they gave me a woman named Daniella at La Amada - another hotel on the property. She gave me some info, but when I asked for more I was told to send her an email. She has not responded to my email and now I'm wondering if I should have gone through a planner or through the group coordinator at the Excellence. Has anyone been in recent contact with the resort and could tell me who additionally I can contact? I want to try and plan the wedding for next summer. All my best, Becky
