Leigh....I have a question...how was the open bar? Did they keep the drinks flowing? I want my guests to have a good time. -
I am having my reception in the ballroom. I wanted the terrace, but was told I couldn't have it. So I asked Claudia for pictures and the ballroom looks nice. I like that it will be more private.

Leigh... Your wedding pictures are beautiful. I have a question... Did you have enough time at your reception to eat and dance? Was three hours enough or did you extend the time? I don't want to feel rushed. Did you have music during your dinner? Also did Claudia give you anything extra that you didn't pay for?

Thanks for the detailed review. Your wedding looked beautiful. Sorry not everything went as planned. I think 3 weddings in one day is ridiculous! I'm getting married on a Tuesday, so hopefully it won't be as busy for me.

When I sent in my deposit, I put that I wanted the terrace for reception. I didn't choose the cocktail hour at that time because I wanted to see what all the areas looked like. when I emailed Claudia and she told me that I couldn't have the terrace unless my guests were all preferred. Which isn't a problem with me, except all the preferred room are booked!!! Lol

Thanks I purchased the ultimate package. I blocked out 15 rooms. We tried to get preferred but it was all booked up already. I don't get it? I'm just going to see what happens? I just don't like how they seem to give everyone a different deal. I asked her about trading the photographer for something else and she said I only get $150 credit. Someone else got a $300. Then I asked how much for an outside vendor and she said $150. I read that someone else was told $100.

Jana....I'm glad you have the terrace in your contract. For some reason she wouldn't put it in mine. I emailed her and asked her pics of other venues.

I guess since you have it in your contract it will be okay? I am not happy right now. I asked for the terrace when I put my deposit in and when she sent me the contract, the terrace wasn't mentioned.

I just received an email from Claudia. I asked if we could have the terrace for our reception. She said only if 70% of my guests stay in preferred tower rooms. My TA said the tower rooms are booked. So now I'm wondering why can't just have the terrace? Anyone else told this?
