We had outside coordinators, but I do know it was more cost-effective for us to start with the package for 31-50 guests and go from there. We were going to spend so much on the additional people (food, chairs, etc) that it just made more sense. You might check out their facebook review page to get some info and see if they have pictures of weddings. Your sis-in-law might see if she can work out a deal for you since they work with coordinators to bring them additional business. I saw several free weddings while we were there. The main differences I saw were the size of those weddings were quite small (def less than 20), it did not seem very private, and the decor looked minimal. I was trying to keep a decent, private distance so I may have missed the good stuff though! They were all tasteful and the couples we encountered were all very happy. I don't think you will have any problems adding your personal touches! Dreams was a pleasure to work with & they will take great care of you!

I believe we paid for the additional time. Our reception was held under a huge palapa (I think it's also used as one of the restaurants) on the far side of the resort and we did not want people leaving to get drinks. I think everyone- including the oldies drank! We also did not want to encourage wedding crashers. If you are on the other side, guests may not have to go as far though.
