I've been admiring all your beautiful dresses for months. I am anxiously waiting for my dress to arrive. It's been almost 5 months!!! (I almost forgot what it looked like.) I called the bridal shop to check on the status and they said it should be here next month......I'm dying to try it on! Anyway, I thought I'd share the pic from the designer's website. It's an Essense of Australia dress.

I sent out my invites in September as well and set a RSVP date of December 1st. I sent a mass email mid December and many of them booked soon after. I'm giving everyone the middle of February and if they don't book, oh well.

Hi Carly, I'll try to take pics of them tonight and post. However, I've not had a good experience when it comes to photographing teal. It always comes out a different shade in the photos than in real life.

Hi ladies, I'm having trouble finding chair sashes to match the teal color in my bridesmaid's Dessy Oasis dress. The guys will be wearing the same color ties so I would like for the reception linens to match. I ordered an Oasis sample from weddinglinensdirect.com. The rep said the color was the same as David's Bridal Oasis which was really close to the Dessy Oasis. However, the satin sash ended up being a lot darker than I expected. The Dessy Oasis looks more like a cross between dark turquoise and teal (at least to me). Has anyone chosen the same color for their bridal party? Where did you get your linens from? Thank you in advance!

Vanessa - I am sorry to hear about your experience. I hope I don't end up with her as my wedding coordinator! KearnsWR - I hate that you're going through this. I did the same as Bride2B22. I only gave them the option of the Royal. I wanted this to be a fun adult only vacation. However, I do have a friend that is thinking about bringing her son so I told them about Gran Caribe. I hope things get better for you.
