I haven't had the chance to sit down and wright my full review, but i wanted to tell everyone that everything was so amazing. More than I could have expected. Leading up to the wedding I was frustrated with the lack of communication, but you have to understand they do about 2 weddings a day and in between doing those they are sitting down and talking with the brides that just arrived for there wedding that week. Once I got to the resort on a Tuesday and sat down with Gina on Thursday morning and my wedding was Friday. They know what they are doing and very expiernced. They will do anything for you to make your day the way you want it. So I know it is so hard to but just trust me to talk a deep breath and know everything will be perfect.

The package does not include everything. Only includes dinner for 20. We just found out we have to pay for the bar as well, kind of lame. $15 a person. Also the DJ is $300 an hr. The don't charge for whatever location you chose, unless you chose to have the dinner or reception at one of the resturants. Dance floor, lights, and decorations all cost extra. I love these. I think this is similar to what we will do. I want a simple beach theme for the centerpieces. Maybe something like this, but with a blue candle, for a little color.

I am getting married on April 13th, 2012. Still haven't figured out how to use this forum that well. Found out today there is another wedding planned for the same day. Getting so close, I getting nervous about all the planning coming together.

June is when Cancun's rain season to starts. I am getting married May 13th, hopefully no spring breakers.

I am also a Riviera 2012 Bride. We are getting married next April. We also want to do a lot of DIY projects. We have chosen the ultimate package. Getting married on the beach and pool deck for our reception. We are also going with the photographer provided. We trust they will know the resort well for beautiful pictures. I am so happy to have found your forum, hope we can help each other out.
