Hi Ladies, this website has been a lifesaver for me and everyone is so amazing here. So I thought I'd return the favour and post my first DIY project. I made my own will you be my bridesmaid cards and it was fun. My fiance was a lot of help and I don't think I could do it w/out him. The colours didn't turn out that great for some reason, but they are turquoise, white and blue. The text I got from this website: http://destinationinspirations.com/2010/09/30/etsy-find-green-card-designs-bm-moh-cards/. I thought it was so funny and my bridesmaids really liked it as well. The tools that I used to make the cards are: 1. embossing machine--$35 (+ $7 shipping to canada). The week later I found the same embossing at Michaels for $48. What's great about Michaels is that you can print out coupons on retailme.com and use it with your purchase 2. 5 folders for the embossing machine--$10.99 at Michaels 2. Scorer and trimmer--$11.99 at Michaels, but walmart also had it for $10.99 3. Satin ribbon--$3.49 at Michaels (I think it was on sale) 4. Double sided tape--$1.45 at walmart on craft isle. 5. Cardstock--3.49 at Michaels Here is the pic of the tools: We are making our own thank you for booking cards and later more projects so I am happy we got the embossing machine and the trimmer with the scorer. After this project I think we'll use them quite a bit for all of our wedding DIY projects. I've attached the word document with the picture and the text that I used. Hope this helps some of you! Happy Planning!

Ladies, I went to winners today to get some stuff for the house and here's what I found for the OOT bags isntead . I apologize for the quality of the pictures, I used my phone. Note pads with pencils inside. It was priced at 3.99 each and they have all the letters of the alphabet. Some of the brides mentioned that their resorts didn't have pens or note pads in the rooms. Luggage tags for 4.99. They are a bit expensive but sooo cute. So, if anybody is interested here it is: They also had very cute card holders in various colours. I might get them for the room keys instead of ordering them from oriental trading. They were 2.99 each and had different colours (red, green, yellow, black ...). I took a picture of the green one and the picture of the inside of the card is for the black card holder. Finally, they had a pack of 6 body lotions for 4.99. I absolutely loved them and bought a few packs for my OOTs. Here is the pic: Happy Shopping!

Hi ladies, I thought I'd share it with you all. My g/f just introduced me to hautelook and beyond the rack websites and I absolutely love them. They have everything there (shoes, jewellery, bags, purses ...) and we are purchasing our groomsmen and bridesmaid gifts from there as it's all high end stuff with 70 to 80% off. I haven't ordered anything from them yet, but my g/f said she has not been charged any custom fees on any of her orders. She also mentioned that either BTR or HL has a gift option somewhere and if you click on that when it's sent the prices will not appear which means that custom fees are not charged either. I called the BTR yesterday and they said there are no custom fees when shipped to Canada and the shipping fee is $11.95 flat. Anyways, the websites are hautelook.com and beyondtherack.com. I don't know if it's invitation only or not. But if it is and you are put on waitlist just click on this sites and you'll be invited by me: http://www.hautelook.com/invite/SMustafaeva856 http://www.beyondtherack.com/member/invite/B5923691 Happy Shopping!

Siobhane, I'll definitely let you know. I asked them for activity brochure so that my guests know about pricing and available activities while they are there. So hopefully there will be something like that. If not, I've already made my own brochure with pictures of activities and approximate pricing that I can just print out and send with my pre-travel brochures. But hopefully theirs will work. I should be getting them sometime next week, so will let you know

Hi ladies, just wanted to let you know that I contacted visitmexico.com about brochures to riviera maya and they are sending me travel brochures and maps for all of our guests. They mailed them yesterday, so I don' t know what or how they look like but we are including them either with our pre-travel brochures or upon arrival in OOT bags. Here is their email if anyone interested [email protected]

Thanks hun! I am still not sure about it . My fiance said that I'll look good no matter what I wear, but I am still doubting this. I'll definitely let you know. We should get together soon. Past week has been crazy for me with school and we are going camping in the middle of all this , but back on the 8th. Let me know if you have time to get together sometime that week. How are things going for you? -
My magnets came in yesterday and they turned out great! In addition to magnets I ordered free calendar and a free note pad and I love them! Here are the pics (sorry about the quality, they are mobile pics: I didn't customize the calendar and the note pad, as they were just for my office. But I am going to order more of these notepads for my OOT bags and you can customize them quite nicely. I love vistaprint!
