  1. We're thinking about doing the same thing! I also am worried about the cost for it all and about which excursion to choose. We have guests coming from all different age groups so it's really hard to decide. Has anyone does this before??
  2. Yea everyone is going to wait till about 6 months before to book, I'm really hoping prices go down and relying on our agent to keep us in the loop. It's pretty stressful for sure! I know our resort books up really fast too so I'm afraid there will be limited rooms at that time, but our wedding coordinator keeps assuring me there will be enough *crossing fingers!!
  3. I'm feeling this as well. We announced our decision to have a destination wedding in January 2011 and the wedding isn't until end of March 2012. We thought we were giving everyone enough notice yet some of our friends/family have been complaining about everything from the date, the location we chose to the fact we've decided to have it on the beach. Luckily all of the important ppl are on board. Good for you for supporting their decision! It will make the whole thing a lot easier on them and after all, it is their day!
  4. So I know this sounds really bad but I'm glad I'm not the only one having this frustrated experience! We're getting married at the Grand Palladium March 26th and the prices are upwards of $1800 everywhere I look. When we were picking the date earlier this year we were told by several agents that end of March was the cheapest but this is crazy! We told all of our guests about $1300/person give or take.... One agent did say that the best time to book is in Oct for March travel so about 6 months in advance, hope this is true, it'll be too late to switch resorts by then .
