I appreciate it much

  4. WOW what a great deal, 18 items for 28. do you mind sharing what you purchased? I also had a good deal thought I would pass on to you. Are you using the first aid kits and then putting different items in them? Because Johnson and Johnson has coupons for the first aid kits its 1.50 off 2. The travel size kits at walmart are only .97 making each kit only .22 each. Just an FYI if you are looking to get some....

I'm not doing OOT bags but I did get bags for my bridesmaids and I bought 18 items for a total of $28! I think it's a pretty good deal and I hope some other brides can take advantage of this. I'm not sure how long the sale will last or when the promo code will expire!

I love the idea of the photoshare cards as well. My FI and I have already talked about this, but hadn't come up with an idea on how to share with everyone...I think I am so going to use this idea...I would love to have your template or whatever you used.

  6. What is Dr. Berbstein? I would be interested in knowing, I have never heard of it...I keep saying I am going to lose weight and I always have one excuse after another of why I don't. I have 14 months to go, so it's about that time where I need to get my butt in gear....

  8. Thank you so much for the information and the video. We are having our wedding at another location but we are spending our honeymoon at the Hard Rock and now I can't wait!!

So we got back on Sunday and it was awesome! For what we want the Hard Rock is the perfect place. We wanted it to be fun and young, but strill rpetty and tropical with good food and drinks. And it definitely is all of that. The resort is big but once you walk around it is very easy to navigate. The grounds are nott that flowery as other small resorts but they are manicured perfectly and still ver pretty especially when all lightup at night. The rooms are awesome! We ended up getting upgraded toa presidential suite but the regular room which the majority of our guests are staying in are pefrect. They are big and decorated really cool and the jacuzzis are awesome. The presidential suite is amazing and we're defintiely getting this when we go back for the wedding. The link below will show you everything (its the video i took while i was there, not the best quality but you'll be able to see everything) Our suite had 1.5 bathrooms, a dining room a living room, a big bedroom witha  sitting area and jacuzzi and a huge bathroom with a walkin closet and huge patio. I loved it! The staff are great! They are very helpful, so nice, and alwasy want to make sure you are having fun. And the resort is definetly fun. Just like all Hard Rock hotels there is music playing everywhere 24 hours a day. The main building that has all the abrs and most of the restuarnts and the casino and the spa ia great. Its so nice inside and there is literally just one bar, restuarant, shop, and cafe or deli after another. At night it was very lively with karaoke in one bar and dance music in another. We had a blast jsut the two of us so when our whole group comes we know its going to be awesome. The casino is really cool too. My fiance loved the sports book place. It had like 90 tvs with every game on that you can think of.... The food was somehting i was really worried about and it was surprisinlgy so good! When we got there we at at Caffetto and I had a panini which was decent and he had a burger which was oddly good. For dinner we at at Ipanema, the Brazilian steak house and it was very good. All the meats we had were  so good and the waiter was great and the sides we really good; The mashed potatoes were so thick but sooo good. Breakfast was good. Made to order omlets, waffles, toast, panckaces etc. For a buffet it was actually pretty good. Lunch we ate at the pool buffet and it was pretty decent. It was typical burgers, hot dogs, nachos etc and they all tasted good to me. We also at at the italian place Ciao but taht wasnt taht great but Im italian and i think its really ahrd to get good italian. I was not expected italian at an all inclusive to be good. It definetly wasnt bad, definitely edible,  but just wasnt like NY italian food but if you dont expcet that then you are fine. The other night we had hibachi and it was awesome! The steak and chicken were soo good i was amazed! We also had the ice cream and milkshakes and Ice cone and they are amazing! and the crepes and sante fe which also are awesome! And we ordered room service and again all good.

For the wedding we got to see all theplaces we could choose from for our welcome party, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and brunch the next day. Every options was really great and it was hard to choose but eneded up going with the welcome party ont he rooftop terrace at Toro, the ceremony on the Isla beach, the cocktail hour at the Eden pool, and the recpetion inthe ballroom. The brunch will be at Los Gallos. I'm soo happy with our choices and so happy we picked Hard Rock. After seeing it and being there it made me feel so good about sending 100+ people down here for a vacation. Oh and the spa is amazing!!! The ritual theyput youthrough before the spa was great! Nothing ive ever experienced before and Ive been to  a ton of spas.  If anyone has any questions definitely let me know.

I've just found this resort and I absolutely loove the pictures and wedding package.  I'm thinking we'll have around 50-80 guests come down with us.  Looking at a Winter 2013 wedding, and Im liking the Now to Eternity package.  Divine would be nice but I read that the 2 hour DJ is no longer included!  I'm heading down to Punta Cana in March 2012 for a destination wedding, we're staying at the Majestic Colonial and I'd like to check out the NOW at the same time.  If anyone can provide me with any info at all that would be great!  My email is [email protected]

    Thanks ladies!

  10. That's a great price would you mine telling me where she is located. I am assuming near you in Montreal? I don't live that far from Montreal and this is a gift I have definitely thought about doing, and with that price it's worth it! On another note I am also having my wedding at the Majestic Colonial but not until December 2012. I totally would be interested in hearing all about yours when you get back!!

Then I came across a photographer who calls her sessions " glamour sessions" .. she specializes in pin up models.. however I told her I didn't want to look like a pin up ... just classic & sexy ... she did my makeup and hair very simple, she has her own studio ... I had no retouching done, got the CD right away with over 125 photos to choose from.... 150$ tax included!! I paid 35 $ for the album online.. and I can't wait to see the finished product! Best idea i've had concerning my wedding yet!!!

  11. Thanks girls...We have decided that we are going to have ours on December 29, 2012 and instead of a full-blown wedding reception we are going to have a Welcome Back Cocktail Reception for all the family and friends that couldn't be with us on our special day!! I appreciate your words...thanks again

  12. Over 5 ½ years ago I became a single mom of three boys –ages 15, 12 and 6. At that time my oldest son thought that it would be a good idea for me to have a MySpace account. I was reluctant at first and then decided why not I had so many friends and family with one, with my sonâ€s help I made a page of my own. It was about a week or two later that I had received a private message from a gentleman. He had read my profile, thought we had a lot in common and was interested in talking. I responded back because he seemed genuine and I didnâ€t want to be rude, but really wasnâ€t interested. We did correspond back and forth for about two weeks and then he wanted to chat online, I did agree. After about 5 weeks he asked if I wanted to go on a date with no expectations. Before I even had time to think about it I said NO!! I was hesitant because I felt meeting someone that you have met online wasnâ€t such a good idea. However, after I thought about it I realized that he was a wonderful man; I knew that his occupation required a lot of compassion and caring and figured why not. I then sent him a message saying yes but that it would have to be in a public place. We met at a local Amusement Park and spent 8 hours together. It was truly the best time of my life; it was like we had already known each other and the conversation just flowed.  I never believed in love at first sight until that day.  We have overcome many obstacles, including the distance of 90 miles between us, and have realized that we love each other more every day. Needless to say this is where it all began and here we are now planning our wedding.

The Proposal - We had talked about marriage a few times over the years, with me even kidding around and telling him he had till our 5th anniversary to propose or else. But on October 29, 2010 when he did, it still came as such a surprise.  Our night started out with us visiting friends and then heading back to the house to have a few drinks and enjoy the fire....We were getting ready to settle in and watch a movie and he said he needed to talk to me about something. I wasn't paying too much attention to what he was doing, sometimes I am oblivious to my surroundings....Even when he got down on one knee, it didn't click. He asked me if I would be his forever love and spend the rest of my life loving him. Shockingly, my first response was did you talk to my dad? He had always said it was important to get my dad's blessing and I didn't realize he had found the time to do just that. He chuckled at me and said yes, I was shaking and crying not only did I receive the most beautiful ring; I became engaged to the most loving, caring amazing man!!!

We are going to celebrate our love for each other in the Dominican Republic in December 2012….with a few family and friends by our side.

  13. Wow that's a great price but I don't need nearly that many...probably only going to need about 15-20....

www.discountmugs.com has 14 oz. mugs with handles on sale for about 1.25 each if you order them blank and order at least 72. I ordered 72 blank orange mugs and then entered the discount code "labor10" at the end to get 10% off and got them for $89 total! The discount code is only good until 9/4. I plan on ordering an adhesive logo then to put on them. They have a variety of colors!

  14. We are going back and forth on having an AHR, I want to, FI doesnt want to bother. I feel since we are having a small number of guests actually attending the DW that an AHR will make everyone else happy. I have had so many friends and family ask, " you are having an AHR reception right?" So here;s my dilemma...I wanted to have it about 2 weeks after the wedding, which makes the date Dec 29th. Being that it is winter and we tend to get a lot of snow, FI thinks we should wait and have it in the spring!! I am just not sure..Any thoughts suggestions?? I would love to hear what everyone thinks!!
