Ya the Riu was too high for our guest too. The Bahia is not bad, but even still its a little high for some people but I guess I can't expect everyone to make it. Its hard to make it work for everyone. Good luck!! I hope you find something

Yay!! have fun!! I'm just waiting for my TA to have all the paperwork done then I can get all the details then I'm on to invitations!! Already bought my dress and head piece!!! there are so many beautiful destination wedding gowns out there, its very hard to choose keep up the updates...its nice to talk to someone else planning at the same resort!

Awsome!!! which wedding planner are you talking with? I'm talking with Chandlyn, she seems really nice even though its over email. She returns email fairly quick and answers all my questions. Have you got a dress yet?

Hello, I'm getting married at the Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway bay Jamaica in March 2012 aswell. Its not priced to bad, we also stayed at the Riu Ocho rios in Feb. and there were lots of nice weddings there everyday!! They have good wedding plans awell! Good luck! Ps I grew up in Ottawa, i'm just outside of Belleville now though, but still go back to visit a lot! Take care

Hello, B2B from Belleville, I finally just picked the resort for March 2012, it was hard, getting prices that will be good for all our guests, but now that it is booked it is much easier. Picking out the details are fun!! Good luck to you!! Heather

Hello!! We are planning our wedding in March 2012 in Jamaica. We were just at the RIU Ocho Rios and saw at least 2 to 3 weddings a day there. They were all very beautiful. So we are still waiting on pricing to decide if we want the Riu Palace in Negril or the Riu Ocho Rios. They offer amazing wedding packages. I know you are as excited as I am so good luck!!
