Hi Ladies! I am also a November 2011 bride, 11/26/11 to be exact. Anyone else out there getting married that day? We are doing it on Isla Mujeres, MX (an island by Cancun) at Zama Beach Club. I am so excited! Bought my dress last weekend and cannot wait for November to get here!!!

I got my dress this weekend! I wanted something a little more casual and light, I had a couple favorites at the bridal shop but then stopped by BCBG and found my favorite dress by far. Sorry no pics of me actually wearing it (we were too excited and forgot lol!) The bow ties either in the front (pictured) or the back, I think its cuter in the back but am still undecided.

Water For Elephants is a great book and its going to be a movie soon. I LOVED this book!

My Fiance and I are planning our honeymoon and have run into some issues. We are having our wedding 11/26/11 on Isla Mujeres, MX and are planning on going to Playa Del Carmen the week after for our honeymoon. Recently, my Fiances family (his parents, sister and her family, and brother and his family) has mentioned that they plan on going to Playa Del Carmen the week after as well but are going to stay at another resort (we have already booked at the Royal). My Fiance and I both feel uncomfortable about this. Mostly because we are spending a week with our families before the wedding and feel like that is plenty of time to see them and its our honeymoon. My fiance talked to his mother the other day and tried to make it clear that this makes us uncomfortable because we want to be alone during our honeymoon and not run into family. They acted hurt and said that they wont contact us while they are there and they promise not to seek us out. The problem with this is that my future father in-law keeps "joking" that wouldn't it be fun if we could do a couple dinners?!? And he is totally the kind of dad that would seek us out. I feel guilty because they are paying for our honeymoon but I also feel like we deserve to be alone on our honeymoon. I tried mentioning that they could stay in Cancun but they are dead set on Playa. Any advise? I feel like we have been very honest with them and tried to detour them but they just lay on the guilt and say that they really want to stay in Playa. I have a couple of questions for everyone: 1) what are the odds that we will run into them? I've never been to Playa and don't know the size. 2) Has anyone flew out of Cancun for their honeymoon? If so, where did you go? Thanks for the help!!

Hi! My name is Shelley, my fiance and I are having our wedding at Zama Beach Club on 11/26/11! We are so excited! We just visited Isla mujeres in February and loved it! I look forward to hearing from anyone else who is having their wedding on Isla Mujeres!

I am having my wedding on Isla Mujeres (an island by cancun) on 11/26/11 and when I was researching the weather during the fall it seemed like that later the better and I think September and October are supposed to be the rainiest. Hope that helps!
