So I am trying to finalize gifts for my parents and am having a heck of a time thinking of one for my mother. I was going to get her earrings and a necklace for the wedding day but then she told me she went out and bought some the other day. so now I am stumped. I got my dad this amazing Rotary watch that is a dual timezone (the middle part rotates and has 2 different faces) as they live in Canada half of the year then the US the other half so thought it would be handy. Hey all, I am on day 24 of Insanity and am really enjoying it, however I have missed a workout here and there as I've been crazy busy at work and with writing my final paper but I am still maintaining a min of 5 times a week. I think it should still be around the $1,000. I was quoted $595 and then they said it went up so I made them honour that price (which is why I had to pay in full already)

All the songs above are wonderful choices. I am a big "oldies" fan and I am dancing to My Girl with my dad (wanted a faster song so I don't cry throughout lol and we use to jam to this song together when I was a kid) and my FI is dancing to Stand by Me which is a good duo choice, or Lean on Me is good as well.

Hi Danasb788, We are also having the ultimate package and purchasing the remainder of the photos. I paid for mine in full a few months back to secure the price I was quoted (it was the 2010 price which they honoured), I think right now all of the pictures are around $1000 but not 100% sure, you can ask Fatima and she will send you the info. I spoke to Cristheell and she said that she will be there starting at the spa getting ready and all the way to the end. You can email Cristheell or Eder (both great photographers at Dreams) to discuss all the details. You'll be very happy with them I'm sure.

Hi JayKay, That is a tricky situation, I too have a few people who just booked last week that were unexpected and a couple more that I am not sure whether will book or not (who said originally that they were for sure coming). I bought enough items for about 10 extra people for OOT etc just in case this happened. However, I was kind of expecting a serge of ppl last minute as this is what other brides have dealt with. I fully agree that it is unfair to not give you any warning about this, people just don't seem to understand how much work is put into a DW, however I feel it is our duty as "perfect little brides" to deal with these things as they come and be gracious about it (even though it sucks!), as they say, the wedding isn't always about the bride and groom, it's about your families and friends as well. So, on that note, this is what I would do if I were you (but everyone is different so do what makes you feel the most comfortable): I would explain my feelings to FI mom (or better yet have him explain it to her) and say that you have already prepared all of these OOT bags etc and do not have time to fuss over last minute attendees, if it bothers her then she can take the time to make the bags for them (and the money if there is no extra supplies). As for the wedding day, if they are making the trip down then I wouldn't cut them out of the wedding activities, it seems harsh to me. I think if they knew they were not welcome at the events that they wouldn't spend the money and come down. I am sure your WC has dealt with a thousand last minute arrivals etc and it would be no problem to fix it on her end. Just think about how awkward it would be if they came down and spent the week with you guys and were uninvited to the wedding... but remember this is just my opinion and you guys should do whatever you think is appropriate. I would just do what needed to be done, speak your mind to FI mom and let it go so you don't stress about it, c'est la vie! Hope this helps a bit. Sorry again to hear about the stresses, it's never fun.

Glad you enjoyed your shoot. I did mine back in August and loved every minute of it! I would recommend to anyone. The only down side was the price, I spent WAY too much money on the book, wall art piece and photo session. I justified it because of the experience and I know my fiance is going to die when he sees it. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Month 1 is going well so far, unfortunately I missed my Sunday workout (I take Saturdays off) as I've been having problems with my left foot for about a month and it was killing me that day. I was back at it yesterday though and will be doing pure cardio tonight when I get home. Even my fiance has started doing it and loves it! I am so proud of him for doing it with me. Tomorrow I weigh in and take measurements so am pretty excited.

Doing great so far, only on day 3 though lol. My mid back and calf muscles are sore but other than that I am LOVING it! Its weird to be excited to get up at 5am to workout but I'll take it. I entered all of my information, workout routines etc on the WOWY workout calendar and realized that the day I leave for Mexico will be exactly the 63rd day of the challenge so I will have to get up super early and get my final workout in before heading to the airport. I'm happy that I'll get to finish the entire 63 days as I was worried that I would have to cut my recovery week by a few days. Good luck with your workouts.

Thanks Allie2012, I have been taking my measurements like crazy for the past few months so am all over it. I know that as I am so close to my goal weight I will likely just tighten up and not lose a whole lot of pounds. This morning I got up at 5am and did my workout, I have NEVER gotten up that early to do anything... well maybe to catch a flight or something lol but I am not an early riser, I always just hit the gym over my lunch hour. It was great to get it done right in the morning and have my lunch free to roam around the mall near my work I felt so productive this morning! Will be up and at'er again tomorrow morning. Now if only I could go to bed earlier...
