Tisha - Theres no telling if this is current pricing or not, but my brochure says a couples sky massage is $129 per person for 60 mins or $169 per person for 90 mins.

Its called a sky massage.  Not actually on the beach, but its elevated above it and looks out to the ocean.  I may have a picture in my album? Its beautiful!!  Talis and I snuck into the area one night and just relaxed there for a while .

I think you can get any treatment listed in their brochure...its just an additional uplift.  I'll see if I can find exact costs.

My thoughts... Maybe the WCs have to say "Spanish Only", but you can get lucky with your minister once actually onsite? You would just have to stay open to the possibility of it being in spanish.

I know, isnt it crazy!?.  I couldn't believe it!  Thats one thing I've been mentioning to girls setting up their website... dont spend too much time "perfecting" every detail because they wont read it anyways!  They might look at the pictures, but thats about it   Haha.

Well my "Save The Date" Passports ended up serving as my invitations too...so I had plenty of room.  There are some pics of my passport in my Default album (just click on my profile and scroll to the bottom).  If you cant find it just let me know and Ill post it.

Not sure who actually read our invites though, cause I'm pretty sure everyone still emailed or called asking for our website

Our wording was similar to Murmel's.  FI and I are paying for the whole thing ourselves, and our invitations say "Jaime & Talis are getting married!...date...place...blah blah...Please join us for an unforgettable weekend!" then went on with wedding website details.  We sort of stayed away from the whole issue because to be honest I was still pretty bitter when our invites went out. 

I'm going for tight roses similar to this.  Just cant decide if I want all ivory, all canary yellow, or mixture of the two colors (my wedding colors are Tiffany Blue, Canary Yellow, and White/Ivory.).  Then a tiffany blue ribbon or ivory?  Ahhh...I'm so not good at this creative stuff! 

Interesting!  Ok, well I feel better knowing I only need to purchase the covers for the ceremony.  That at least makes the price half of what I was thinking. 
 

Reception chairs are covered with white covers and white bows (included in the sweet wedding pkg for free).   If you want the chairs covered for the reception and "your bows added" - make sure you tell them.  I had silver bows that I brought transferred from the ceremony to the reception thinking that they would just add them to the covered chairs and substitute my bows for the white ones - but they didn't.  The chairs at my ceremony were uncovered with the bows I brought.  I didn't really care - but if its important to you - let them know.

I'm having some memory issues, so hopefully you girls can help.  Did the free wedding package ever include the brides bouquet?  ($60 credit towards one at least).  I could've sworn it did, but my WC now says its not, and I cant find my original package info!

I've changed my package multiple times, so anything is possible

Did you walk down the ramp in your heels too?  If so, did you need to hold onto the railing?

How was wearing heels in the sand?  I noticed your BMs did it too!  I practiced in heels during a site visit and did fine, but I'm curious how it goes during the REAL thing .

So you are leaving Azul for your TTD??  I didn't realize this was an option with Maria!  I know she does fabulous sunset shots, but Azul seems to have an unimpressive location for sunsets.  Can you keep me posted on where you decide to go?

Ok great!  I really wasn't sure how easy it was for you guys to exchange for USD.  If its that easy, thats what I'll recommend.  Thanks again!

Most use USD.  I suggested people use USD vs converting to pesos.  We always use USD for shopping (absolutely) and tipping (typically) when travelling to the Carribean.  But seriously - when it comes to tipping - money is money - use what you want - but we typically stick with USD b/c it is easier for them to exchange.  In all my trips to mexico - I have never exchanged for pesos and have had no regrets.

Good example of where pesos may be more handy - tulum - 10 pesos to 1 USD vs what is normal 12 pesos to 1USD for a 5USD admission fee.  Considering that - I would hate to be left with a handful of pesos for something this trivial.  If they really wish - exchange very small amounts once in mexico (from USD).  Transportation, day trips etc are already priced in USD at the resort so no need to exchange in my opinion.

About half of our guests are Canadian, so I wanted to give them the best direction possible.

Wow...thats just crazy.  I asked multiple WCs in Miami and onsite and all told me it must be in Spanish.  I believe their exact response was "this is 100% a requirement and there is no way around it".  Goes to show nothing is set in stone if you can get ahold of the right person!

Unfortunately this is true.  It actually shows this in the resorts standard online rates, so all TAs will tell you the same thing.
