Hey ladies.............ah I carnt decide whether or not to pay the extra for 'private dinner' or just go with the free one and spend the money paying for everyone to do a trip..........anyone who has already got married in AS have any recommendations?? is the food any different that will be served in the spoons restaurant compared to private meal??? oh what to do, what to dooooo....

Hi Gem I too am from UK and my thompson rep said we dont need to get anything translated to spanish?? she said we need to take our birth certificate and a copy of each.........ohhh im confused now too, i will call them tomorrow to clarify and maybe call embassy too, you do the same and we will confirm with each other! jeees imagine getting everyone over there then not being able to get married!!

Hi Ladies! First time on the site.......have been thinking of what diet to start in preparation for my June wedding... I need to loose 2 stone, im an all or nothing kind of girl so I have started on Celebrity Slim today which replaces 2 meals a day with shakes, then 1 healthy/low carb meal.........has anyone tried this before?? Wow thanks Murmel for all the info.........I now have managed to narrow it down to 2 area''s for the dinner...either the zavas plaza or the palpa yoga...does anyone know how many guests each one holds?? also is the palpa yoga literally in the middle of the beach - so all other guests can see?? i really dont want loads of hotel guests just watching us eating! thanks again!!

Hi Ladies - Hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas! I live in Wales and we had snow for the first time in years, its been lovely! I have managed to set some time aside, finally, to continue with my wedding plans.........and have a few questions, if anyone has any answers I would really appreciate them! 1- If your choosing to have a 'private dinner' where can you choose to hold it? i have 25 guests and was hoping we could all sit togeather away from the hotel, on the beach or something nice and private! if anyone knows what the options are, please advise! 2- On the private dinner menu, can you pick and choose from any of the set menu's and have say a starter from menu 1, main from 2 and desert from 3?? typically all the options I like are not on the same menu!! 3- Is the cocktail hour (after ceremony) free?? where do you choose cocktails from or can you design your own? If anyone can help on any of the 3 questions that would be great!! off to look at flowers now whilst im in the Wedding Mood!! thanks in advance x

Im tyring to picture how my day is going to turn out and have managed (thanks to all of the fab info from people who have been lucky enough to visit) to get the morning/ceremony/dinner sorted.......what I am confused about is what do people do after the dinner?? is there certain area's/bar's that you can choose to have music/dancing and lots more drinks!! I have a party of 25 coming over with me and at the minute im trying to decide whether or not to have a private party or have the free option in one of the restaurants??? but then i have no idea what we will do afterwards, anyone who has any idea please share with me!! Hi All Im very new to the site and have been trawling through pages and pages of previous posts- all very inspiring!  I have a couple of questions that you may be able to help me with...  I booked my wedding 4 months ago through my local travel agent for June next year and have so far had no contact with the hotel or been told who will be my wedding planner is. Can anyone tell me how long they waited to be sent any infomation regarding choices for the day? and how do I go about getting a wedding planner? does anyone have any names/numbers/email addresses for the hotel?  Any advice at this stage would be great as I would really like to start getting things organised and find out what choices i have for example flowers/colors/drinks/food etc  Thanks ladies xx
