Yup, that is my hope that 150 go! Yes, Zunga gave me very similar quotes.. My colors are coral though, not hot pink Otherwise that would've been a good idea because I do plan on bringing my own linens... I went to the resort back in June or July and so I got to see the chapel and how far away it is from the Sunrise side...and yes it's quite the walk...but like you said I plan to have the cocktail hour at the chapel gardens and just give them time to walk on over if they'd wish, or take a shuttle...

they are lovely!!! thats actually the color I went with for my bridal party too and I have 8 BMs also... but I picked out the color Guava from David's Bridal for them

Interesting information Terpgurl! I asked for the Star Ballroom because i'm thinking 150 guests... and this ballroom has MUCH MUCH higher ceilings than the Carey Ballroom...but I definitely am concerned about what you are talking about... and having a reception hall that looks more empty than full...

My pleasure! The pictures of the pool, was really just the walk ways...one of the pics I sent you though, that looks like it's from up avobe...is from the Arrecifes restaurant terrace (Nizuc side) i'm pretty sure.. it's a beautiful view of the pools... I"m shooting for the unlimited events so on my list are a bridal party meet and greet (they are from all over the country) bridesmaid brunch, farewell breakfast for guests, cocktail hour, reception, and whatever else I come up with LOL

good for you!! MP is extremely safe- you can't get in the doors without being on a list.. I felt completely safe when I went in July

I happened to go to a site visit and looked at the venues and told them that there was no way i was going to wait until 90 days prior to confirm the room. they got me in touch with the site coordinator and now it's in the books. I have a document with the MP reception venues if you'd like to see! just email me [email protected]

for them to contact you 30 days out (sometimes I hear about 90 days out) is standard protocol for them... NOT ME! lol, so ask the questions you need to and contact them! if you want to hear from them earlier

There is a way to pay $30 to be a "supporter" of BDW to have immediate access to upload and download attachments... OR... you can make at least 150 posts to be considered a Junior member and it will allow you to upload and download as well

and as a Palace member, me and my wedding guests (using my family's membership number) will be getting the transfers for free...

there is a shuttle that can be arranged from resort to airport...its like a 10 minute drive. super fast...and they are pretty organized. has to be reserved ahead of time so you are on the "list"

what are you thinking about your cake Southern Swettie? I'm with you on this one, being someone who bakes and decorates cakes myself.. I have a family friend that also has her own business decorating cakes and she wants to just bring the whole thing ---but that makes me nervous as well. I think my compromise might be is to get a plain tiered cake from MP and then bring my own sugar flowers to adorn it

It's my understanding (being a member as well) that 20% off is when you pay with cash/out of pocket. You can't apply the 1500 promotion to the discounted package it's one or the other. I was totally bummed to hear this
