  1. I do not believe that we get any of the prints, just all of the DVDs with color enhancement. Also, the price includes the trash a dress session.
  2. I am using Phil Steingard... He quated me $2600 for the entire day of coverage and a trash the dress session. I know he is looking for other brides during that time period since there are only 2 of us. My wedding is 3/3/11 and the other brides is 3/5/11. I hope that helps. You can also find him on facebook.
  3. Hi Chendy901- Â I am the bride that has Phil Steingard scheduled for 3/3/11 . I was considering doing chair sashes on my own and stuff, but also I am finding that shipping to PC will be more difficult than I had expected. So we will have to bring everything with us on the flight and I am thinking it will not be as easy as I would like. Â Did you decide if you are doing your own sashes or if you are using the resorts? Â I too would like to book DJ Mannie but didnt budget myself for it so I don't think it will work out. Anyways, if you are interested in sharing supplies, etc. primate message me!
  4. Hi... I am hoping that someone can help me in regards to the sound system for the ceremony. Do the wedding coordinators handle this? Are we supposed to bring a CD/Ipod with our music? Or do we choose from the resorts collection? Â Also, did you have anything shipped to Punta Cana or bring it all in with you while flying?

  6. I am also curious how you get things to the DR. From my understanding shipping is pricey, so it is recommended to bring things on the plane.... However, I was curious if you had any trouble getting the water bottles into the DR?!?!?! I also liked the idea of bringing a margarita mix for the OOT bags, but thought I wouldnt be able to bring food into another country.... Also, anyone know how the music works for the ceremony? Do we bring a CD or does the resort supply the music? Does the wedding coordinator handle playing it, etc?!?!? Â Also since you did a 3.5 hour dinner reception with a DJ, did they keep the beer and wine flowing? Or did they stop after the dinner and when it was just dancing? Â You mentioned the Elegance Club manager arranged dinner on the beach. Was this something you had to purchase or was it free? Â Did you stay in the oceanfront room with indoor/outdoor jacuzzi or the swim-up garden view with indoor outdoor jacuzzi? How did the 2 balconies work exactly? Â Thanks!

  8. For those that are saying they got their photos before they left, is this just the CD or photos? What about a album, like those digital photo albums that I have seen? Do the photographers in PC use those? Thanks
  9. I also am having problems with Sandra getting back to me. At first when I was just interested in the Majestic, she was getting back to me often the same day... Now it is taking several days if not a week to get a response. I feel the frustration. Also, I wanted the judge for 3pm 3/3/11, but I guess the judge was not available at 3 pm so I have to have a 5pm wedding which is making me very nervous about photos. So I get your frustrations ladies!

  12. This looks great!!! Where did you get your image? I am having difficulty finding palm trees and flowers that I want to put in my STD... I have seen the palm tree a few times but cannot find it in my clip art gallery. The palm trees I do find are never in the color I need them in (purple or pink). Any assistance you can provide would be great! Thanks!
  13. Another question... I am kind of uncomfortable with the fact that we did not need to give a deposit or anything to book our wedding date for 3-3-11 at Majestic Elegance. Sandra just asked for our names, ceremony location and approximate number of quests. Is this all that was requested from everyone else? What is the guarantee that it is actually scheduled? Any suggestions or experiences with how this works would be greatly appreciated. Thanks brides!
  14. Thanks for the suggestion! They only had 5pm for a civil ceremony for the day that we wanted. We wanted to do our wedding on a Thursday since direct flights are only offered on Sat and Sun and I dont want our guests to have to worry about waking up for a flight the day after a wedding... So 3/3/11 at 5 pm it is... However, you had a great point about pictures... Any suggestions what we should to get around this? I dont really want to do pictures before hand and I do not know what time the sunsets in the DR.
  15. How do you word your wedding website (like the welcome page) when you are having a DW with only close friends and family, but later we are having a AHR? I am worried people not invited to the DW will be offended by the wording on my welcome page....Since the main idea of having the website is mostly to assist with providing the information to all of the guests that are going to the DW, I am not sure how to word this exactly... Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks!

  17. Hi your website looks great!!! Regarding wedding websites... How do you actually word certain parts if you are only having immediate family and close friends invited to the DW but are having a AHR for the rest? I mean, I dont want to come off offensive, but also want to create the website for those that will be going to the DW so they have all the information available to them.... Any suggestions
  18. Does anyone know the times that Majestic Elegance offers for weddings? From what I know they have 3pm and 5pm, but I wasn't sure if that is every day of the week or only certain days. I at first had wanted a 5pm wedding, but I think I would be too excited throughout the day. So not sure what time I should do now!

  22. Can anyone tell me how it works to have dinner at one of the restaurants at the Majestic Elegance resort and then have a private reception for cocktails and cake? Do we have to pay extra for dinner at one of the resorts restaurants if all of the guests are staying there? Is it really crowded in the restaurants? What is the maximum number of people they allow for reservations for a wedding? Sorry so many questions. Any information any one has would be great. I was originally trying to do a private dinner reception as well, but this seems to add a lot of extra cost. We are expecting about 30 people for the wedding. Thanks!

I believe that the bar is a short walk for private receptions. A private reception dinner with the buffet menu offered will be US$55+26% per person including wine, beer, champagne and soft drinks during dinner. About the open bar you have two options: - US$500.00 per hour flat rate including national open bar and sound system - Buying the open bar per person which will be US$15+26% for the first hour and half price for the following hours.
