Hola Dream brides! I'm leaving Tuesday January 4th for Dreams and getting married on the 8th! I can't believe I have three days before we fly out, it's going to go by sooo fast! Hey Jenn, Â I'm getting married at Dreams on January 8, 2011. We arrive on Tuesday January 4, 2011. Â Not sure about flowers, we are just going to pick them out when we get there. Â As for music, we are renting the sound system and will bring out ipod and make a playlist of the songs we want. Â I figured we'd only do that for an hour or two and then just head to the disco. Hi Ladies!! Last time I was on here I thought I'd be a February bride but this past week we booked our wedding for January 8th at Dreams Punta Cana!! Very excited to finally have a wedding date! We are in the process of sending out STD's and are doing it by email. We have price quotes good for only seven days and thought email would be the quickest way to let people know. Not sure how that is for wedding etiquette but I guess I'm not doing everything by the book! So we'll see how people respond. I just want to be there already!!

I see several brides have booked their weddings at the Majestic Colonial! We've also been looking at this resort and the Dreams resort. How do you choose!? Would anyone mind providing reasons why you chose your particular resort! Thanks!

I too plan on getting married in Punta Cana during the last week of February 2011. That's about all I've decided, YIKES! Do most people pick a wedding date on the weekend or does it really matter with a destination wedding? I was already feeling overwhelmed about picking a resort and actually setting a date.
