I told her that i was booking Doremixx and she never said that they weren't allowed she just told me to pass on my details to her once i'd booked him. Ive spoke to her on the phone, but its very expensive for me to keep phoning her from the UK. And that is what we are paying for is for a WC so they should do their job and reply seeing as we are the ones spending the money.

Its not very helpful is it when we are trying to sort things out and they are not doing their job.

On the Lomas site it says that wedding passes are $72 each for 8hrs which includes food and beverages but not private event food and beverages that is extra.

Nikki i was wondering the same thing as the dj ive booked provides them, but it says to check with your WC i havent been able to do this as shes not replying to my emails.

Hi Ladies, Michelle so sorry you are having all this stress ontop of wedding stress. I hope it all works out for the best in the end. As i've said before i'm very lucky my MIL is not coming, she emailed my FI to let him know that she couldn't afford it even though we were paying . I haven't seen or spoke to her since we have been making wedding plans. Whenever I have seen her before all she has done is slag off the other DIL's, she has tried to stop both jays other brothers from getting married. (causing arguements, making prank annomynous phone calls to their partners just before their weddings) she is a bit physco. I am pleased that she is not coming as she is a 60yr old women who dresses like Shirley off of Eastenders (mutton dressed as lamb), so i would have dreaded to think what she would have worn.Enough about her, it is her loss! I am having a nightmare getting hold of WC, I need her to confirm where we are having our reception as she booked the wrong place and she has not replied to any of my emails for 2weeks now, its starting to stress me out now. I have booked my DJ and have finally decided on a photographer. We have chosen off site DJ but onsite photographer. I am trying to get hold of some Raffia fans (buri fans) to put on the chairs for our guest for during the ceremony, but am really struggling to find a supplier in the uk does anyone know of anywhere?

Hi ladies, do any of you have Angie for your WC? If so have you heard from her lately? I've sent emails in the last two weeks and had no response at all, getting frustrated as I need to know answers. Any advice?

The onsite DJ hasn't got very good reviews. There are about 5 photographers that they recommend, they look okay but will have to have a serious look at them.

I ave asked and they said no, and today they have put the fee up to $800 per vendor. So there is no chance of getting the ones I want now :-(

OMG they have just put the outside vendors fee up to $800 that is just stupid. When yesterday they told me it was $500. No way i can get a DJ or photographer that I want now :-(

Quick question, those of you who are using and outside photographer and DJ who are you using???? ANd did you get them approved okay? Did you book them first then approve them or the other way round?

We have possibly got a few more to book, who will leave it till the last minute (jay's friends). We are having a private reception after the wedding in a location by the pool, we was just going to do the ipod and sound system thing but as there are more going we thought we needed a DJ. It still works out cheaper than resort one though (resort one $1500, outside $800 + $500 fee). I'm really unsure who to use for photographer, who are you all using????

Charmaine the dress is lovely a proper fairytale dress. I love all the sparkle!! I am dying to show everyone my dress as I love it sooooo much. I just want to keep going round my mums and try it on hehe. Congrats on the new booking michelle, we are also up to 23 going now as we had 5 book last week its a nice feeling isn't it. I also love the figures they are great. We are having a dilema at the moment with what to do for DJ and photographer. The recommended DJ hasnt got very good reviews but to use outside vendor we have to pay a $500 fee and same with the photographer. What to do?????

Just been looking on the Lomas website re vendor fees and it only mentions it next to Photographers no mention regarding DJ's. I'm going to question this with my WC, because if they want to charge you they need to state it on their website and its not.

Do any of you know if you have to pay the vendors fee $500 for every outside vendor you use or a one off fee of $500 covers all outside vendors?

For past and future brides that are having or have had a private reception. We are struggling to decide where to hold it that gives you some privacy. I like the zavaz plaza but it doesnt seem very private. Can anyone help?

Woohoo I've just had phone call from my sons best friends mum to say they are able to come to Mexico for the wedding. So that's another 3 which makes it 21 of us so far :-) I've just told my son and he's running round the house screaming 'yes' think he's a bit excited! That will be him sorted on holiday!
