Hey Michelle Thanks for the advice. I keep getting so frustrated with not knowing what we are going to do yet or where we are going to book it. I can't wait till I have a set date. Does Barcelo do one or two weddings per day?

hi ladies, As I mentioned a while back I am going to the Azul in March to check it out...but have been reading on Trip Advisor that there are 2-3 weddings a day! I am not sure how much I like that...what has everyone else's experiences/thoughts been with this? Also I know some hotels like Dreams Cancun offers only 1 wedding per day. Did anyone consider this hotel? I am going to check it out while down there at AS...

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I think I just kind of panicked/worried that what if I travel there and hate it...then started reading some bad reviews and got freaked. I am using destinationweddings.com and she said you can have your cocktail hour up there after your reception. Is that what you are doing? Do you just select off a separate menu for cocktail hour?

I am going to AS in March to check out the resort and I've been reviewing the banquet kit to try and get an idea of how much this is going to cost but I feel that its so confusing. (I swear I am not dumb ) Is it me or should they have specific wedding menus? For instance does anyone know if you you do the sky wedding do you pick your hor dourves from the "white glove" menu? Also there is one menu where a dinner is $20 and then a comparable entree on a different menu that is almost $50. If someone could let me know their budget breakdowns that would be awesome. Also if the hotel was willing to negotiate on prices too... Thanks!!!

Hello all... I am totally new to forums/dwf/etc. and pretty much have no idea what I am doing. I am prob going to the Azul in March to check it out. Right now it is our top choice for our wedding next year. If anyone has pictures or advice I would greatly appreciate it! Or if you could let me know how accommodating the staff at Sensatori is? Prices? Etc... This is all so overwhelming at first!!!

Hello, I just got engaged on Christmas Eve to my boyfriend of 3 years. We are planning a destination wedding most likely to the Riveria Maya. Currently our top two hotels are Dreams Cancun and Azul Sensatori. We are looking for either January or March of 2011. Anyone booked at either of these or another resort in the area? Thanks!!!
