Question- What type of cake did you ladies decide on? When I say yellow cake they say sponge cake(yikes!). I told them I would like Fondant icing(the smooth icing) and they told me if I want that type of icing a yellow cake could not hold that kind of icing. Therefore either chocolate or almond cake. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!

@Pandabride6- You are so right! They charge for every little thing. My wedding date is June 19th 2010 West Gazebo. Can someone please email me the information on outside locations for my reception, before I give additional funds away to RHR?

Dry your eyes and call the Sheraton headquarters and explain the situation. Most large establishment will do whatever it takes to make a customer happy. Especially during such a finanical downward spinal in the economy. Make sure to call the 1-800# and ask for their wedding department or management. Good luck and keep me posted

Hello, Currently I'm getting married in Montego Bay, Jamaica @ Rose Hall Resort & Spa on June 19,2010. If you are having guest attend, please make sure your hotel does not charge for guest attending your wedding if they do not stay @ your hotel. Most hotels charge a fee for a one day pass for guest up to $100. If no one is attending choose a location where the wedding is free if you stay for 5 days on their property. There are so many different factors. After 2 months I finally made a decision. Hopefully this helps.

My wedding is schedule early in the day and all my guest have the AI package, therefore I inquired on having appetizers and cocktails instead of a reception. I was quoted $1,250 for 200 pieces for 50 guest. This does not include servers($100 per server). And yes I was quoted $45 pp for a reception also, and that does not include the location. Currently I'm using a travel agent for my guest that include AI and payment plan which must be paid in full by the end of April. We decided to use the gazebo area overlooking the sea. Charline sent me great pictures. She also sent pictures of what flowers are included in the package. I look forward to learning additional information from you all. SO GLAD I FOUND THIS FORUM!
