So... I went to 4 targets and got the pink & green stripped ones. I get back home and FI is like "they are neon" so now I have to return them... I must agree with him though-in all the excitement I didn't really pay much attention to the shades. Also, the bag with only 16 towels was still quite heavy so I'm not even sure I want to lug 16 towels (on top of everything else) to Mexico! But thanks SO much for the tip!

After seeing several pictures (on here and in Yamina's emails) I think I am going to keep it simple and go without the arch/flowers, and just do a runner and chair sashes. There are only 14 people other than us and we are trying to keep it simple. Plus the flowers/arch are an additional cost and being that we are both teachers and won't get paid again until late August it's best for us. I believe I have a file from Yamina of pictures of those options- let me know if you needed. Also, if you look back a couple pages, Jennifer put a link to her amazing pictures by Cecilia Dumas and there are some ceremony ones there plus her hair and make up. In her pp she said her hair and make up turned out much better than her picture/she expected. So I think you can relax as far as that goes!

I have gone back and forth over wearing a veil too... I think I am just going to wait until I find "the" dress and hope the answer comes to me then... if you want to wear one, I don't see any reason you shouldn't! ~Jessica

So excited!!! We just reserved our stay at EPM and set up for the Wedding with Yamina! The wedding will be June 15, 2010 at 11am (my fiance doesn't think he will be able to wait all day to get married, LOL!) Anyhow, I have a few questions for those of you that have had experience with EPM/Yamina. 1. What are the #1 things I should talk to Yamina about? The wedding package is pretty broad and when I spoke with her on the phone, she pretty much deferred me to email her. I know you ladies say she is great when you are there, I just want to make sure to get the important stuff done first! 2. Did (or is) any one else get married at 11am? If so, what the heck do you do the rest of the day?!? TIA! Jessica

Hi Ladies! I am happy to announce that my fiance and I will now be getting married at EPM. We were originally going to honeymoon there, but have decided to have the wedding there as well! This is my first post on this board, but I have read alot of your posts to help our decision making process! Thanks!

My name is Jessica. We are planning on getting married at Excellence Playa Mujeres in June 2010. We are not sure of the exact date yet as I am waiting to hear back about their availability! Happy planning to all!
