Hi All, The day after we arrived in the resort we went to the weddings office and met with Cecilia - she gave me a slip of paper with the things for me to do. One of them was my appointments for hair and makeup, as well as appointments for the couples massage and facial we received with the eternity honeymoon pacakge, we went straight to the spa and booked them when we were there. I had the ultimate package so hair and makeup was included, she did an absoultely fantastic job, I told her what I liked and she did exactly that only much better then I could have done. everybody commented on it. In regards to the menu, we had somebody allergic to seafood, so the soup / salad / desert had to be the same but we were allowed to have individuals choose from a choice of 2 main courses and we had to provide Cecilia with these chooses 1 week prior. Thanks Ladies - Jana, the lady in the salon did my hair and makeup, I did tell her exactly what I wanted but she did it nicer then I ever could have imagined. The thing they told me when I got to the salon was please come alone to the appointment. Don't bring your mum or your bridesmaid, this way they will listen to only your opinion not everybody elses and do it they way you want it, not the way everyone else thinks it should be done Tommorrow is my day off so will get my review done and posted up! Thanks - I give all the credit the guys from Juan Navarro - they made us run to get in shots as it was a bad weather afternoon, they moved my wedding inside and we were losing light...... with their ton of experince of shooting photos are dreams they knew all the best shots automatically and exactly where to position us. I know it is maybe a bit cookie cutter when we all look at the Dreams photography over and over within our studies of which photographers we should use, but to our friends back home that have never seen this fantastic place the photos look stunning. So you are correct it is a bit of everything, and of course I am not saying my photos are better then any other brides as all our photos are simply the best, I am just trying to let the brides know if they havn't had their wedding yets and Cecilia is making a fuss over who they can have as a photographer that truly Juans team did an amazing job for me as I am sure they will do for your weddings...... x

Hi Laides, Got married on Nov 3rd - truly it was fabulous! I have been crazy in work since and will try to get my review up over the weekend..... I can say that I thought of using another photographer but wow did Juan Navarros team do an outstanding job, I put 15 shots up on my facebook and have over 40 friends comments stating they are the best wedding photos they have basically seen - the guys are genius....... In regards to flowers, I switched 2 corages for a bridesmaid bouquet which was just simple 3 stems, but my bouquet was lovely, I was extremely happy with the flowers they provided. Promise to get my review this weekend as I was in your situation a few weeks ago. Take care, Tori

Tomick -welcome back, congratulations and good for you! I am so pleased for you..... wow.... truly how did you get such freebies, I am in Aw...... I have booked the DJ, DAncefloor and soundsystem for the ceremony and Cecilia has been adding it all onto my invoice and sending me updates........ Even though I mentioned to her I pay for 20 people and I only have 16 attending including kids it was basically sorry, the package is a good deal so there is nothing I can do for you in the way of anything for free...... good for you! Can't wait to see your review. Ladies who have already been married, can't decide on the desert - stupid thing I know, has anyone got pictures of the food or input on what food was good / bad to help us make the decesions - our house is spilt 3 ways Jason, my little girl and myself over what food we should be choosing!! OK so been emailing back and forth with Cecilia this morning, added the sound system to the ceremony as she notes the guests won't hear our vows if we don't. I'm a bit dissappointed about the Eternity Honeymoon Pacakge - we can't get it as even though we have 24 nights accomodation booked over 5 rooms, becuase 1 of the rooms is only staying 2 nights not 3 they won't give it to us. Cecilia says she has to prove to reservations department that there are 5 rooms staying 3 nights or we need the honeymoon category or hgher room. I figure it just sucks a bit that I have fmaily spending a week in the hotel in rooms but becuase my friend can only stay 2 nights we lose out....... sorry for my rant eveyone just a tad dissappointed thought it would have been nice treat and had my mum look after my little girl for the night! Nevermind, back to the drawing board. Happy Friday every one! Tori

WOW - your pictures are beautiful...... would you mind me asking how many people you had in the wedding? I have 14 guests attending including children and I see you had a dance floor I was wondering it you had a large party or a smaller group as I want a dancefloor but worry it will look like not many of us on it.  Also in regards to your pink glass center pieces, and the giveaways you had - what were these? OK Mari and Shannon - Â You ladies have me stresing, I am getting married on 11-3-10 and you have made me realise I have around 2 months also!!! Â We have booked the Ultimate Package but due to issues in work alot of people can't attend and there will now be just 16 of us and that includes the children!! - however we are still planning on having the DJ and dancefloor, even though its really expensive we think it will be what we all remember having a drink and a dance..... Â Mari - I have a very small veil, just like a birdcage veil, it looked good with my dress when I tried it on..... well I have to lose at least 20lb for the dress to come close to looking good, I ordered it 2 sizes to small and when I collected it last week I couldn't breath in it... holy smokes and know I realise I only have about 8 weeks to go! Â Thanks for the details on the florist - I am definately going to contact her - wonder if I will have to pay and outside vendor fee if she is just dropping off bridesmaids bouquets? Hi Tammy, When I logged into my account it was asking me to become a supporter, today it shows I am a supporter so thanks for helping However I cannot find where the attachments are now, sorry its probably me then. When I went to the Dreams Cancun forum I used to see like a paperclip that when I pressed on it I saw lists of attachments - things like sand cermemony description, flower bouquets etc etc. Know the paperclip has gone..... could you tell me where I would find the attachement please? Hello, Last week I paid the $30 from my paypal account (jge2106 - CheapOrlandoTours) to become a supporter and be able to download the attachments. It worked for 1 day, then when the new forum came up (whish looks great ) I seem to have reverted to a newbie again..... Can someone please help me? Thanks Tori

Another question for you ladies if you dont mind - in my case how would you set up the tables at the reception, we have 10 adults / 3 teenagers / 3 children, thats including Jason and I. So really 14 guests including the children and us. Family keep telling me to still keep the dance floor as we are british so like to have a few drinks and dance the night away, but not sure how to sit everyone in circle tables or a line or what..... Any advice appreciated.....

I emailed Ceceilia and Claudia this week as I want the 'A La Carte' price list as with only 10 people attending I might ditch the package - the emails got bounced back both times. I will try again today and wirte in Spanish, my spanish is a bit rusty, I used to live in spain 10 years ago but I can probably get by..... Thanks, Tori

Wow Shia, it looks beautiful - you dress is lovely and I like the white on white, its unusal and delicately pretty. THe gazebo looks great, can you share what the measurements were please for the curtains you made - did you have to sew the top or anything on them? I think they frame the gazebo really well... Thanks Ladies, we are ot doing anything when we get home to Florida although our friends are all here our families are in the UK. Does anybody happen to have the A La Carte Wedings price list? I think I am going to go through it and really pick and choose what we need.... then I can look at it price wise to the package. I think I can plan it nice, just different, just getting used to the idea of a smaller wedding! Hi Ladies, Help and advice needed please. My wedding has srunk in sixe from around 24 people to just 10 adults / 3 teenagers / 3 children. Primarily due to NASA reschuedling a space shuttle launch to November 1st and my wedding being November 3rd. I live in Florida and now none of my collegues can attend plus friends as this is our livelihood so we can't leave on such a important week. I cannot reschuedle the wedding as my perants and my FI children are flying from Europe so this is set. We have booked Ultimate Package plus DJ and lighted dancefloor. This was for the garden reception....... Now with such small numbers wont this look really silly and be a huge expense for just this amount of people, and 16 people with all the children on the big garden area.... also prehaps it is better for me to not take the ultimate but book the wedding a la carte as I dont need to pay for all the alcohol etc.... What would you ladies do in my situation? Has anybody had a smaller wedding? If so how was it? When I look at the reviews I only see 20+ people so I am not sure what I could do? I emailed Cecilia but know she is extremely busy this month so dont expect to hear back from her for a few weeks, in the interim any ideas you may have or notes on what you did prehaps for smaller weddings would be greatly appreicated...
