So I pushed my my ceremony time to 5pm since sunset for my wedding date is about 5:40, then quick last pics and having my guest meet at the mojotio bar at 6pm-7pm for drinks, then our ceremony starts at 7pm for dinner and dj. So my reception will end at 11pm, which is when I heard the noise curfew is anyways. At which time those guest who want to keep partying, can choose a disco and hang out there after 11. Im not having a cocktail party, through them, we are making our own lol from 6-7pm haha. NO WAY IM PAYING THEM ANYMORE MONEY.

lol, im lovin these men do nothing, because i can totally relate. I called my fh and asked him what he was doing (and he is very persistant on antagonizing me about what "he" wants to wear in the wedding). So his response was im at footlocker, i said cool, what your getting, he said tennis shoes for the wedding ceremony AHHH, im gonna jump out of my own skin. He hates dress shoes and hates dressing up, i dont know why this bothers me so much. Maybe because this is the one and only time he HAS to do this and he is NOT wearing tennis shoes with his suit, im gonna kill him. Pray for him that he makes it to mexico in 24 days!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Lindz, when I save the dates, I had only AS on there and our Destination wedding info for our travel agent and as of today, I have 9 ppl not staying at the resort. I have been stessing so bad about it. IF and only IF you have a private reception the day pass get waived for your guest attending. The problem is, the rest of your vacation, you wont see or get to hang with your guest unless they come and pay for themselves a $80-$90_$100 day pass, meaning i have no idea how much it will be in 200 days lol. with the resorts unconsistant prices, i think its safe to stay in that range lol. So, for example, Im goin to have a WELCOME PARTY on thursday at the resort, and what about my 9 guest not booked there?? And the party is at night/ dinner time. IF they want, i guess they can come hang all day there and get ready in bathrooms or our room if they want and stay since it is an all day pass? I dont know what to do, it sucks but it is what it is. I have so much to do, that this doesnt help... but i guess at the end of the day, id rather have my family there than NOT there so if staying somewhere else was better for them, they hey, I guess i cant complain

hey girls! Happy Monday! Ive been so busy, im on overload and am currently trying to find a good healthy balance. I havent been sleeping well because Ill be thinking of some stuff that needs to be done and it will keep me up all night. UGGG. Anyways, I need your lovely ladys help aka ADVICE. OK, my dress is from demetrois and its ivory. but its not your typical ivory, its almost like diamond white? I usually call it pearl. My colors are silver, charcol and hot pink. Since my dress JUST came in last week, I had previously picked out clothes for the men. Gray slacks, white shirt, dark gray vest, shiny gray tie and black shoes. NOW that my dress is here, i put a white shirt next to my dress and it looks horrible!!! I dont think its THAT bad, since they will have the vest on but it looks very ivory next to white...and I cannot stop thinking about it. But when I looked into getting ivory shirts for the guys, i didnt like those either, it just looked bad with the gray. I dont know what it is about ivory dress shirts for men, but I didnt like it at all. any thoughts girls

I totally used vista print postcards for my AHR! LOL, i got 100 for FREE, after all said and done, i paid $22.22 hahaha!! I will post a pict, they should arrive wednesday!! My AHR is very casual, Cocktails and hor'orderves, 100ppl approx., we hired valet, a HOTTIE aucustic guitar player, lots and lots on candles, very romantic ... And we are a "goin green"family so we did an online RSVP

Im having a dj. the only option they allowed "me" was their onsite dj, which I paid $1500. YIKES. totally sucks. But to me, I didnt wanna worry about the guests vibe and switching songs and not having songs that people ask for and manning an ipod, i just didnt wanna be worried about entertaining, I want to be entertained, if that makes since. There is some discrepency with Dj's tho, i was told no outside mexican dj allowed and some girls have used them and have them booked. So if there is one in particular that you want, id look into it further. I just kinda went with it since im running out of time. I will let ya know in 30days how the onsite dj works out for those wondering!

amy f, mia is NOT good. Mine was too... Anyone have any cool ideas about organized excursions the week of your weddings? Im not sure but i think i want to plan somthings to do, but noone will HAVE to do them if they dont want. For sure shopping is one for the girls, maybe golfing for the men, I heard there was a really cool MUST CHECK OUT bar/resturant at throws an awesome beach party off site, I gotta find out the name of it...
