Thanks for sharing!! I love your playlist.

tonight my FI and I went to Daniel for my birthday, and I talked to Daniel Boulud! It was my first celebrity chef sighting
-
The only reason I know my time is that the priest is doing the ceremony and that's been booked. 4 pm it is for me

Congrats and welcome to a fellow GP bride! we're getting married in Punta Cana, but I hear all the GP resorts are fantastic!

I emailed Carolina today asking about the new colour sashes and she actually emailed me back within a few minutes! They now have these colours:
Orange
Gold
Emerald Green
Lime Green
Fuscia
Blue
I'm curious to know what the blue looks like. if it's even remotely close to turquoise, i would be stoked!
I would love to see what this blue is too - I have 50 royal blue colored sashes, at least they don't weigh a lot, but if she already has them that's a big bonus.

thanks for posting this carla! we are meeting with our priest in a few weeks, and I hope to get this stuff straightened out asap!
-
I'm bringing some shells, and hopefully vases (haven't found them yet) to fill with sand, a candle, and sea glass

This is a great review! I am a GP bride too! do you think the bartenders would be open to creating a blue-colored "themed" drink? we want to host a cocktail hour after our ceremony.
-
Can you tell me where you found the 4 in a package hand sanitizers?

the wedding singer : adam sandler

maureen, do you know if that's the case if you have to have it renewed? I've been holding off due to the issue that gr8ful has...my passport is going to expire 3 months after our wedding date.

What a great post - thanks for sharing. I love the wraps for the pashminas, it's a nice personalized touch for those of us who are DIY-challenged!
-
I've purchased organza sashes, but I haven't used them yet - I'm hoping the same thing, that they will be heavy enough that they won't be all over the place. Our wedding is in a gazebo off the ocean, so maybe there will be less of a breeze.
-
i can't meet on the 15th (we're doing a boat cruise with our group), but i'm going to try to make it on the 17th
-
I think this is a great review, and would be incredibly helpful to brides who haven't chosen their resort yet!

angela, so you can have a catholic ceremony in the new gazebo?? we want to use the new gazebo, but i don't want to get my hopes up - right now we'll be in the old gazebo in the garden. is fr. jean la caille also your contact? i haven't reached out to him yet since we haven't had our interview yet, and we have until february to finalize all the paperwork.

Grand Palladium does them too, the cost is $60/head. There is more info in the GP thread if you are interested.

this is a great site, thank you!

http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ta-cana-14643/ is the thread for GP - it may be really helpful to you.
The WC is Carolina Barragan Beck, and her email is: [email protected]

grand palladium and grand palladium palace utilize the same wedding coordinator, and your guests can stay at any of the resorts.
GBP is Gran Bahia Principe - we had looked into here, but only very briefly.
