  1. I have spoken to Gabriela as well. She actually was sooooooo helpful. I had sent like five emails to Ana and over a month had gone by with no reasons. Then I received an email from Gabriela saying she would find out a status on my emails and she responded back that day to all of them. I have 125 people coming to our wedding and i think she realized how stressed i was getting with the lack of reponse. And i must say she was great

  3. HEY!!!!! If anyone is looking to do towels in their guest's OOT bags and has a large group like we do. I recommend going to Target....They have a sale going on right now for towels and they are actually really really good!!! I only paid $3.25 per towel!!! Our colors are brown and green, and they had the exact colors! Plus You can't beat the price at all. I had to buy 115 of them so the price was perfect. Went to a wholesale company (on-line) and they wanted $5.50 each and the sample were very very cheap so these where the best I have found so far!

Thanks, Adrian Hey May Fiance is wearing this.....He is wearing it in the STONE Column Weave Color, if you click the color you can see the whole suit. He's not wearing a tie though, just a white dress shirt, Stays Cool 3-Button Wool Suit- Buy 1, Get 2 FREE! And his two brothers are wearing this.....except no jacket, they have a matching linen vest instead of jacket.   9. From what I understand, you go to the SPA for your hair and Make-up. You actually have to make an Appointment...but like the other girl suggested ask them and see what they say! I am choosing not to use the SPA except for the messages, I actually gave my cousin, who is my TA, my hair and make-up appointment since they won’t let me substitute or exchange it for anything else. We booked the Master Suit and I have hired Fernando Fuentes and his hair stylist to come do our hair and make-up in the suit. I just didn’t want to be down at the salon, I would rather us be in the room drinking and getting ready together. As for the grooms room the night before…..it’s so hard to tell. I was there in October and there was lots of open rooms but it had just opened. My fiancé is going to his brother’s room the night before if need be and his brothers fiancé is going to spend the night with me. It will be fun no matter what……don’t stress over this. This is so small compared to the day
  10. Can someone please help me!!! I am trying to understand the contract for the Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package. So 20 people are included in the package....and you pay $2760 for this package. Now according to the contract any additional guests for cocktail hour is $ 26 usd + 10 % + 15 % per person which is about $33.00 and for the reception its $ 48 USD + 15 % + 10 % per person which is about $61.00 per person. SO that’s a TOTAL OF $94.00 per person!!! And that doesn't even included the additional bottles of Champagne which is $ 38 usd + 15% service +10% tax per bottle!!! Now am I reading this wrong or is it really $94 a per person for any additional guest over the 20 included?!?! There is such a language barrier, lack of response and I have a hard time getting straight answers. If it is it is, but I just want to try and understand. And I will definitely be negotiating for we have 95 people already booked with another 15-20 still anticipated to book. And wedding is November 13, 2010. ANYONE WHO KNOWS PLEASE JUST LET ME KNOW.......MUCH APPRECIATE!!! :-)

  13. Haven't been on here in a while! Been so busy. Hope everyone’s planning is going smoothly!!! I have been working out and watching what I have been eating as well. I've also been taking diet pill to help lose my 20 pounds. I have lost 15 so far and actually would like to loss 10 more.....so I'm not worried about putting any lbs on when I get down there!!! ha-ha. And so I can be very skinny.... :-) Also for those of you who booked Fernando; when you guys submitted your deposit to Fernando did he confirm that he received it?!? I have emailed him twice and still haven't heard anything.....I sent $435 so I just want a confirmation, it’s a lot of money to just wire to an account without getting a response that it was received!

Part of me thinks I should email over my own contract and have him sign it along with myself……would that we weird

  19. I think the timeline is a great idea!! It just helps keep you on track and to not fto orgot anything. This thread is so much better then one of the other ones i go on! The girls just really stress me out! And I always think why do I even go one there....haha Also in regards to the guys attire.....just wanted to let you know. My FI is going to try and get a light gray and white pin stripped linen suit. It is so sharp, no tie, just jacket and pants. And the stripped is very fine so it just looks awesome.....doesn't look like the seersucker look, which i like but he doesn't. I got the groomsman there outfitts and they are awesome. I got them like a creamish/tanins perry ellis linen pants w/ a matching linen vest. They have jackets too but we didn't get that. Bought them at Macys! they are just gonna wear white shirts with the sleevs rolled up, got the look from JCREW. In case you guys still needed an idea

  23. Hi!! I am getting married on November 13, 2010 at the Dreams Riviera Maya. I sent the Save the Dates out, sent the invites out, ordered dress, got it from Priscilla of Boston itsLinen and Venice Lace and I love it!! My sisters got their dresses, we got them from BCBG. I also booked Fernando!! I am excited to use him. He actually called me the other day! He has a great sense of humor and his english is good. Booked DJ, going to order the maracas/ hand fans/ parasols etc. Already have 70 people booked expecting 100 to a 150!! I am so excited. Can't wait
