I've heard nothing but great things about RIU Ocho Rios - don't worry - I think that is where we are going to end up booking our wedding. I have been to Ocho Rios before (at a different resort) and it's beautiful.

I may have all of you beat. Todd and I have been going out 9 years this summer and are getting married next year - year #10!!!

We are thinking of going to one of the couple resorts in Jamaica for our honeymoon the second week by ourselves. We went to Couples Ocho Rios a few years ago and it was wonderful - very small, quite, romantic and amazing service/food. We actually really wanted to get married there but once we looked into it they don't have any rooms without king beds so because we have quite a few single family members and friends it just didn't make sense. Anyways, I think we may change our wedding location to the ROR or RIU Negril as oppose to RMB. I really can't wait to actually have this booked - I have been driving myself crazy over picking the perfect resort!! I'll feel so much better when it's booked! My next step is doing up my invitations, I want to get them out by end of month I think. Am planning on doing them myself - we'll see how that goes.....

I'm wondering the same thing as btn1091...would you recommend this resort?? We are thinking of it for our wedding april 2010. We were also thinking RMB but starting to change our minds. btn1091 - what week are you getting married? - I think our wedding day is going to be april 20th 2010.

We are still deciding whether or not to book our wedding at RIU Montego Bay. Just wondering if you could give me some insight....... was it a really nice resort and did your wedding go smoothly?? I've read some reviews and people complain of the noise of planes overhead....what did you think?? My other question is about the photographer.....did you have to find your own or did the resort provide one?
