    I didn't even think about that yet- I like the idea of wearing a casual white dress and going to dinner afterward. Is it hard to get a date at the courthouse or is it pretty easy to schedule

    Congrats! I am planning on a Mexico wedding at around the same time - May 28, 2010! I have vacationed at many locations in Mexico - but we are planning on puerto vallarta!

    Thanks that helps out a lot!! I am thinking of hiring a wedding coordinator to help with the church. We'll see how that goes! Now all I have to do is find a resort!

    I feel so behind!! I just got engaged and we are planning on a May 28. 2010 wedding in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. We are still trying to find a hotel that will accomadate the reception we want to have. I hope to get my STDs out ASAP after we set the date with the hotel. I like the idea of reminder postcards I was trying to think of a way to make sure everyone books to get the group rate!

    We got engaged in Jamaica too, in Negril. We went out to the beach - and he got down on one knee I was so shocked! You actually got married at the hotel we were going to stay at during the same time! how crazy! Hope it was great Congrats!

    Hi We just started planning and it looks like we will have at least 50 people at the wedding. I am looking around at hotels and most of the packages have a limit of 20 people (or you have to pay extra) and was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and knows of any accommodating resorts. Thanks

    Hello Everyone! I just got engaged last week in Jamaica - to follow the theme we are getting married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico next May, 2010. I am looking into hotels now and trying to find a good deal. I want a catholic church wedding and a reception back at the hotel (ideally on the beach) we are thinking that we will have at least 50 guests so I'm having a hard time finding packages for a larger group. Looks like there is a lot of good info on the site I'm excited to get started!
