    Hello ladies, I am planning on attending on the 23rd.

    Hi Chevy, Yahimara offered to use some of the plastic chairs, but I don't think that will look good becasue I bought sashes to decorate the chairs. We are just going to go with the 40 and some people will have to stand. Most of my guests don't mind. I asked a bunch of people what they thought and no one seemed to care that they may have to stand during the ceremony.

    I didn't get our documents translated either. I just scanned them and sent them to my travel agent and to yahimara. Yahimara said that this was all she needed.

    Hi ladies, Yahimara just informed me that they only have 30 chairs for the ceremony at this time. She does not know when they will get more...so it looks like half my guests will ahve to stand. I am annoyed becasue back in November she told me that we needed to book the chairs, so I sent her an e-mail booking 60 chairs and she said it was fine. Now she tells me that they only have 30....

    Hi Ladies, Yahimara booked reservation for me for 15 people for the rehearsal dinner (we are only having a dinner with immediate family) She did say that this reservation would be counted as one of the 3 a la carte meals allowed per week.

    We booked a photographer from Calgary who travels to Cuba very often to shoot weddings. She does not charge for the trip, she only charges for the photography. We have her for 2 days. The day of the wedding and antoher day to do other pictures in Havana or anywhere else we would like.

    Hello ladies, We bookeda section at the Steakhouse restaurant for our dinner instead of doing the private dinner. There is no charge for booking a section of the restaurant. We have about 60 people coming so figured that we will take up a large part of the restaurant anyways. We opted to pay extra for the disco for 2 hours so we can have a bit of a private party with our guests.

    Hi Ladies, The Iberostar Laguna Azul currently does not offer an option for a Beach reception. I spoke to Yahimara about thisa couple of months ago becasue that what we wanted, but she said that unfortunately,they do not offer this option.

    Hi Barrierunner, I am getting married on May 6th at 4 pm as well, followed by champagne and dinner at 6:30. We booked the disco privately for 2 hours from 9 to 11 pm after that it opens to the public. We felt that some private time for our group to party would be great, but we do have 60 people coming, so it is a bigger group.

    Hi RonNMel, Which tour operator did you book with? We are getting one free every 21, but not freee seat selection. I'm just curious if it is through the same tour operator or different one.

    We are going down May 2nd to the 16th and we're getting married on May 6th. Our guests are going down from May 2nd to the 9th.

    I booked a photographer whp travels to Cuba regularly to shoot weddings. She has beatiful work. Emaiol me and I can give you her details. She does not charge you for her trip is she is already going to be there to shoot other weddings.

    Yes, I was a little disappointed as well, but I still want to have it on the beach. We will just have to wait and see if they get a few more choices.
