So I just reserved my date, June 7, 2010! My concern is that I was originallly looking at West Maui to stay, have the ceremony and reception. However, I was doing some more research and it seems that the Kapalua are (where I was thinking of having my beach ceremony) is significantly rainier than South Maui. Has anyone had or heard of weather issues in this area? I would be devistated if my beautiful Hawaii beach wedding was rained out! Thank you in advance!

It looks like we are doing the same thing for our wedding. We also are planning on using APDW. Their pictures are amazing! I was wondering which photo package you chose and how they charged for the extra time at sunset? My FI really wants some sunset pics but I think we are planning a morning wedding so I was curious how having them come back later would work? Also, you mentioned your car almost getting towed. Why was it going to be towed? Is there a time limit or something? Thank you so much for the great review! -

Congratulations! It looks like everything went REALLY well. Thank you so much for this review! I have been going crazy trying to find anyone who has stayed at the Royal Lahaina and for a decently priced restaurant for our reception. This helps a ton! Thanks again!

Thanks Dina! This is really helpful. I was wondering though if you have ever been to the Royal Lahaina? From my research this hotel was recently renovated and is now a nice hotel that doesn't cost a fortune. Do you have any experience with weddings here? Thanks!

I forgot to ask also...what about photography at the Royal Lahaina? Do you have to use their photographers and if so, are they any good? This is one of my main concerns about using a resort. Thanks again!

Hello! I have a dilemma that I'm hoping you all can help with. We know we want to go to Hawaii for our wedding/honeymoon but I can't decide between Maui and Kauai! We have never been to either but my FI is set on Kauai because he hears it's less touristy and is quieter. I seem to be finding more options on Maui though. Unfortunately, my FI is deployed to Afghanistan until October and can't really look online at any of the options/information so the decision is really left up to me. Has anyone been to both islands that can help me decide Thank you for the help!

Kauai Brides, We are looking to have our wedding in Kauai. I have looked at a few wedding planners but am unsure which one to pick. Has anyone heard anything about Your Kauai Weddings or In Heaven Hawaii Weddings?? Your help would be appreciated!
